'Ocean Beach' reside en 21 Silversides Trail directamente al otro lado de la calle de la playa en un callejón sin salida. ¡QUE VISTA! Estamos a medio camino de South Beach, cerca del Mercado Marítimo, la estación de bomberos, las tiendas boutique y casi exactamente entre The Bald Head Island Club y The Shoals Club.

Nuestra nueva casa fue revisada y redecorada, repintada y renombrada al estilo de los propietarios. Nuestra lujosa ropa de cama nueva seguramente complacerá a todos. Hay dos dormitorios principales, y un tercer dormitorio también tiene una cama king size y baño privado. La 'habitación de los niños' tiene dos gemelos de gran tamaño; esa habitación tiene su propio baño también. Cada habitación tiene nuevos televisores de pantalla plana de 32 'y reproductores de DVD.

Recuerde hacer reservas con el ferry Bald Head Island para llegar y partir. Su boleto de ferry también le brinda servicio de tranvía desde el ferry a 21 Silversides Trail.

El huracán Florence tuvo un gran impacto en la isla en septiembre de 2018 y habrá propiedades en reparación para el próximo año. Además, como The Island todavía se está construyendo, las nuevas construcciones comienzan todo el tiempo. Los propietarios que no sean los que realizan la construcción no se hacen responsables de este inconveniente, ya que no podemos influir de ninguna otra manera en otras propiedades.

Todas las sábanas y toallas son provistas. Contamos con servicio de internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad y servicio telefónico de larga distancia nacional ilimitado.

La vista desde la cubierta superior es espectacular y nos permite ver desde el río Cape Fear hasta Frying Pan Shoals. Los delfines son visitantes frecuentes de 'nuestra' playa y se ven fácilmente desde los 3 porches.

En el garaje encontrará un carrito de golf para 4 y 6 pasajeros. DEBE ser un conductor con licencia para operar los carros de golf en Bald Head Island. El área protegida con sombra que es la entrada a nuestra casa, también sirve como un lugar para escapar del sol en una de las 2 hamacas. Hay una zona de juegos de arena debajo de la casa para aquellos pequeños que se han cansado de nuestras playas bañadas por el sol y una ducha caliente al aire libre para deshacerse de la arena.

El mercado marítimo es bastante sorprendente teniendo en cuenta que deben llevar todo a la isla en una barcaza. Las selecciones son extremadamente buenas y el servicio es excelente.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Beach! The house has a wonderful location, with great views of the dunes, beach and water. It’s very comfortable and well appointed, with everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Hugh is very helpful, responsive and friendly. We would love to come back!

Perfect location and perfect views!!

This was the most well stocked house we have stayed in. You felt like you were staying at a friend’s house. Everything you could need was available in the kitchen, plenty of towels for shower and beach, beach toys, chairs etc. The house was directly off the beach- just a short walk to the access walkway and a straight shot to the market as well. The view from the top balcony was enjoyed by everyone each morning. Hugh was super responsive for a few minor issues we had. Will stay here again!

I cannot say enough about this place and the owner! It was the best family vacation we’ve had in a long, long time! Hugh was so wonderful to work with. The house is STOCKED with everything you could ever need! Everything was clean and just as described. This house is truly a case where it’s even BETTER than the pictures… plus you can’t beat the view! We’ll be back!

Excellent as always

Wonderful house on the beach. Well stocked with all you need - and I cooked 3 meals a day for our large crowd. Lovely porches/decks when you want to feel ocean breezes and see the waves but need a break from the sand. Close to everything. We will be back!

Incredible stay

This was our third year at this house. It remains the best house we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail is incredible. New floors, ovens and furniture make the house fresh and current. Hugh is so responsive and helpful - it actually feels like staying at a friends house. Can’t say enough good things about it!

Tropical Storm Debby Stay

Great location. Really nice house. Hugh was very responsive. Would stay there again. Too bad we were there the week of a tropical storm as the island shut down for a few days and we had a lot of rain/wind. I strongly suggest either avoiding a trip during hurricane season or have insurance if traveling this time of year.

HEAVEN

This was our 25th year visiting BHI and this property made our anniversary even more enjoyable. The view was amazing along with the sunsets. The house was well stocked with essentials and had every appliance or cooking utensil you could imagine. Plenty of rooms and decks if you wanted to sneak away and read a book or take a little snooze. Was nice to have plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach umbrella (you do not have to worry about bringing any of that). The host was always available if needed. I had the pleasure of meeting the host as we were leaving - Hugh thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful house on our special 25th anniversary on BHI - the most wonderful place in NC!!!

Nice stay

Overall good stay and solid house. Great decks and outdoor areas. Location is fine. Good supplies and toys and chairs and carts. House is a little tired on the inside, lots of little homeowner type fixes. Metal brackets holding together rocking chairs, spray painted areas of rust, microwave has to be pried open, etc. Not a big deal but at the price bracket a little surprising. The upstairs master has a strange opening over the living room which is apparently to be able to see the ocean. But it means that if anyone is trying to sleep up there they will be woken up by any noise downstairs…can’t watch tv as a family or play cards in the living room, etc. I found that to be a fairly big deal. Would strongly recommend at least installing a window there. We enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend the house.

I just want to say Thank You to Hugh for facilitating our stay at this beautiful house and property. The location is a very short walk to the beach and very convenient to BHI Club, the Market, and the Shoals Club. The appointments in the kitchen were the best we've experienced, and in every way the home exceeded our expectations!

A perfect spot!

The property was great! The location was perfect! The house was clean and extremely comfortable. It had great entertaining space, great relaxing space, a spacious property for sure! The property owner was easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for 4 couples. Each had their own en- suite. Beds were comfortable! I would rent this property again and again. !

Perfect location, wonderful house

Do not hesitate to book Ocean Beach! It is in the perfect location - just across the dunes from the beach, unobstructed view of the ocean, right down the road from the main shopping area. The house has everything you will need and the furnishings are gorgeous. We spent many relaxing and pleasurable hours on the front decks. We were particularly pleased with the completely outfitted kitchen, including a wide array of spices and condiments. We've stayed in many beach homes that didn't even supply salt and pepper, so not having to transport/buy these necessities was a joy. Owner was immediately responsive and helpful. You will have a great beach vacation at this house! We sure did.

Wonderful home!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is nicely decorated, comfortable and very well-equipped for cooking and relaxing. The upper deck is the perfect place to view the sunset and the screened porch off the main bedroom is the perfect morning coffee spot. We enjoyed the ocean views and the very close beach access. The owners were very informative and responsive before and during our stay. We will definitely stay at Ocean Beach again.

Family beach getaway

We came to BHI for a large family reunion. This was one of a few properties we stayed in. My sister and I and our families stayed here and we cant say enough about how perfect our stay was. Not only is the home the perfect beachfront home for views of the ocean, porch rocking and reading, and late night movies, but it was also stocked with all the essentials - boogie boards, beach chairs, island carts, beach towels, comfortable beds, a washer and dryer and plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook and there were two refrigerators for plenty of room for food and cold beverages. Hugh was very responsive and helpful, and the location is idyllic. We only wish we could have stayed longer - but we will be back!

Fabulous Experience

This was our fourth trip to BHI, and our first time at this house. We have stayed in many vacation homes over the past 30 years throughout NC and VA. This is one of the best we have stayed in. The location is perfect - easy access to the beach and the market. But the house itself is so well stocked. Everything that you can imagine you might need it has. Kitchen - every pot, pan, dish, spice or plate you might need. Bar - every glass, plastic cup, blender, mixer you might need they have in volume. Coffee bar - grinder, filters, sugar all right there. Beach - from beach towels to nice beach chairs to boogie boards - plenty of all. Grills - a gas one that the ignition actually worked on, and a charcoal one - both in good shape. Beds - most comfortable beds we have experienced at a vacation house. The house itself is well designed - decks in the sun, decks in the shade, and a screened in porch. And on top of it all the owner it very communicative and easy to deal with. Not only do we highly recommend this house, we have already booked it again for next year. Can't wait to get back!

Great host, great location and all the stuff!

Hugh is an incredibly responsive and generous host. This house is the most well-equipped beach house we’ve ever rented - beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys galore plus the most well-equipped kitchen you could ask for. Sunny deck, shaded deck, screened deck or Sandy play area with kids swings and a porch swing, you have every option imaginable for family space or quiet space. Living room and dining room are great for family games, and the second fridge in the garage really helps!

We chose Bald Head Island because the Island grabbed us 10 years ago when we first visited. It is relatively close to our home, 'hard to get to' because its an island, and it is in North Carolina the best place to live!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This Island is magical! It starts as soon as you unload and begin the journey on our great ferries. The 20 minute ride is just enough to unwind and relax before you hit the Island and start what we call 'Island Time'. You will love the slower pace. Step onto the lower porch or the upper deck and see the Atlantic in all its glory, and you'll want to go get another drink and sit yourself down a spell. Our home is so close to everything and RIGHT ON THE BEACH! We thank the Lord every day for allowing us to be so fortunate and share this wonderful Island. We pinch each other to make sure we are still awake, because it seems like such a dream come true.
