2/10 Horrible

If I could give zero stars I would. When I booked, I agreed to pay “host fees”, taxes”, etc.and breakfast was “included”—all prepaid. When I checked in, I verified I was paid in full. I was told I was paid in full but needed to leave a credit card for incidentals. When I checked out, I got a surprise 15 per day charge for “hotel fees”. When I attempted to inquire with hotel staff, she was rude and dismissive and when I asked for her name, both she and her co-worker (Lucy) refused to give her name. Lucy was wearing a name badge, the other staff was not wearing a name badge. I went to my car to get my phone so I could get a photo of her so I could at least include a photo of who I spoke to when I complained. The lady climbed over the check out counter leaping at me trying to swat my phone out of my hands. I called the police. Her manager was called in. The local officer said because she didn’t touch me, she could not be charged. The officer confirmed their video showed her jumping across the front desk at me. The manager continued to allow this woman to work knowing she acted so inappropriately. Chris, the manager, continued to insist that I was informed of the fees in an “email” after I booked. I told him that is not how a contract works—there has to be an agreement at booking on the fees, not a unilateral email changing the terms after the booking already occurred on other terms. Chris refused to remove the charges. This is a special kind of fraud ripe for a class action.
