Features:
Living Area: The main level features an inviting dining area with a spacious table that has hosted countless meals, game nights, and reunions over the years. Adjacent to the dining area is a cozy living room, where you can enjoy both ocean views and entertainment on the TV—ideal for those rare rainy days.

Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen offers all the essentials, including a butcher block for additional counter space. With bar stools at the counter, it’s the perfect spot for friends to chat or kids to watch the cooking action. Prepare meals to enjoy on the screened-in back porch or pack up snacks for a beach day.

Bedroom 1: Oceanfront Queen bed with access to a shared jack-and-jill bathroom.

Family and friend vacation

This property had plenty of space for a large group of us! Beach access allowed it to be easy to be active without having to plan huge beach days. Folly beach also has great restaurants only a 20 min walk from this Vrbo!

Comfy, quaint, and convenient!

This is a basic (older) beach house that worked well for our group of 10, though three adults had to share the upstairs room, it is large with multiple beds. The couples did fine in the downstairs rooms. It's not swanky but the kitchen works well, there's a huge dining room table and the beach access cannot be better. We also enjoyed being able to walk to the pier (6 blocks?) and some of us could jog to the lighthouse (3 miles).

Great property. On the beach Roomy and all 6 of us had our own space. Great screened in porch overlooking the ocean. Would recommend to friends.

Perfect for Family

We just spent spring break in this home and had an amazing week! It is a sweet beach front home with a beautiful ocean view and perfect location. Large kitchen table for family gatherings. While it could use some updates, it is perfect for family's with kids. The upstairs was a huge hit!

Large home on the beach, excellent value

The home was right on the beach with easy access. Home is somewhat dated and needs some updating but did it's purpose. The home is huge and able to accommodate many people. Overall very good location.

Great Girls Trip!

We stayed at Sandi Lou for a girls beach weekend. We loved the access to the beach and the set up of the house was great for a group our size. I will say, either the house needed some love or the listing wasn't 100% accurate as we encountered water spots along the ceiling, cabinets close to falling off their hinges, the freezer door not opening at all, and some of the outside doors not opening either. I let the property manager know through VRBO app (as I couldn't find a way to message in the Vacasa app) but never heard back. In fact, I had reached out to them the day prior with a question and never heard back about that either. Long story short, we had a wonderful time during our stay but communication with property manager was lacking.

February getaway

Sunrise and view of dolphins swimming by from porch rockers were just what us Notherners needed in February. Home was clean and well stocked for 5 adults. Plenty of beds in upstairs open space, although we only needed the main living bedrooms for our group. Easy walk to pier and Center St but far enough away to be relaxing.

Great beach getaway

The house and lot was great with a floor plan that accommodated a crowd. Slept 12 comfortably and the open great room on the main floor allowed for everyone to interact with each other from the kitchen to the back porch overlooking the beach. The views were incredible! The house was clean and turnkey. All we had to do was show up! Thank you for a great weekend.

2nd Time and Hope for More!

Sandi Lou is just perfect! The layout is great for family - especially for teens / twenties kids with the beds and bathroom upstairs. This was our second time renting and with family living on Johns Island we plan to return to Sandi Lou again and again!

Great house for young families

All the amenities you could ask for. Practically smack dab in the middle of Folly beach, equidistant from light house to the east and park to the west. Upstairs room is great for the kids to hang out and sleep, with 6 beds.

Perfect location

The property was very clean and had evverything you coud need for a vacation with family. The third bathroom that is upstairs in the bunk room is very tiny (at least for us adults). The shower was definitely made for smaller (shorter) people. It wasnt a big issue for us--but the only thing that wasnt what I expected from the listing. More than enough dishes/pots/pans/silverware. Everything worked wonderfully. Screens on front door and back porch could use some love--but over all this was an awesome house!

Only one key provided for a 4 bedroom place. Property needs some care with painting, deck boards, screens on deck torn, kitchen cabinet doors are loose.Shower curtain in second floor bathroom has mildew.

We enjoyed everything! It was very very nice! It just was hard from having a lot of people coming in from out of town that we could not get answers about the house until day of. I emailed asking about beach towels and beach chairs and no answer. We also were wondering about early checknin but couldn't get an answer till day of. Other then that it was amazing.

Great place! Great location!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandy Lou! The place was just as pictured and was well equipped with plenty of kitchen items, towels, blankets, etc. We loved the floor plan and the fact that there were two bedrooms facing the ocean so that both my husband and I and our friends could sleep to the sound of those beautiful ocean waves. The beach was one of the cleanest we’ve ever been on and we could walk it for miles. We walked to town several times for shopping, eating or for just a drink. The management was very responsive to any questions we had. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a great experience!
