The house was great. Perfect for our family of 5 Christmas getaway. Love the back deck, fire pit and how close the river is to the house. Good distance to Blue Ridge so we can pop into town easily but far enough we have our space and quiet.

This cabin was everything we were looking for on our hectic free Thanksgiving break! The cabin was very clean and stocked with all the essentials. We enjoyed being right on the river. The host was very quick to respond to messages.

Yes, host was very hospitable and accommodating. It was very peaceful and relaxing sitting on the porch watching the creek. One morning I saw a buck, an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this property!

A Quiet Retreat

If the weather had been as perfect as this cabin our trip would have been great. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the perfect place to stay!!

A very nice and wonderful place everything was there that you needed and the place was maintained very well there host always got back to you only one thing that as a senior I didn't like was the kiddie flush up stairs

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Very clean and nice accommodations. The creek out back and the fire pit were very enjoyable. Close to Blue Ridge. Would highly recommend.

Place was beautiful and as described. Directions provided were perfect. Communication was great ! Only issue for us was that there are 4 TV’s - 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs- we were unable for 4 days of 7 to acces any of them. Finally got the master bedroom one to work. We communicated with the host - but were not able to resolve the issues. Hopefully will be resolved for those in the future- )football season and all Also a few kitchen hand towels would be a help.

Nice getaway in the woods

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very close to everything we had planned to do, but far enough to feel remote. Sitting by the creek with a fire was perfect. We would come back and highly recommend!

Summer Vacation!

Joseph was very communicative throughout the process. We were even blessed an early check in, the timing of the cleaners finishing and when we arrived to town allowed us to do so. Thanks again Joseph!Location was great! We felt it was reasonable to all activities we chose to do but we sure did appreciate the quiet at night. Especially the sounds of the creek. We spotted deer around the property and at night the fireflies came out.Perfect sized, well equipped cabin made for a comfortable stay. To be informative, you can hear conversations happening from other bedrooms, but we all got a good laugh at it.If visiting the area again, we would gladly stay here!

Mother/Daughters Trip

This property is very clean. It is quiet and cozy. Beautiful scenery. Comfortable beds, large seating area in living room and beautiful back porch with rocking chairs and a swing glider. AC and Heat worked really well. The host was friendly and very responsive and accommodating.

Small but cozy

The cabin is small. Good for a small group. You can hear every conversation and noise. Being on the creek was very nice. Workig with the host was very easy and he was very accomdating.

Fantastic Accommodations on Perfect Blue Ridge Property with Excellent Host!

If you’re looking for the perfect mix of wilderness, charm, and “did we just win a baseball tournament because of this place?” magic—look no further. Our family of six rolled into this gem of a cabin in Blue Ridge for a 4-day summer baseball showdown, and not only did we leave with the first-place trophy, but two of our smallest teammates (my toddlers ages 3 and 4) reeled in their very first fish only 20 feet off the back porch of this cabin! I mean… how do you top that? YOU DON’T.The cabin was spotless, perfectly stocked, and basically felt like it knew exactly what we needed before we did. Want to sit by the creek and feel like you’re in a nature documentary narrated by Morgan Freeman? Done. Need to cook meals for six without losing your sanity? Handled. Feel like sipping coffee on the back porch while your kids try to catch minnows with a stick? You bet.And shoutout to our host Joseph—absolute MVP. Not only was he super responsive and helpful during the stay, but when one of us accidentally left a phone behind (we won’t name names… cough Teenage Boy cough), Joseph came through like a hospitality superhero. We’re convinced this cabin has good luck and magic woven into its logs. Thanks for the memories—and the wins. We’ll be back (maybe for next year’s mountain showdown!)
