Worth it.

Great for a quick beach only trip. Condo seemed recently remodeled and clean. Pools were nice and the resort was away from the popular stuff but not too far. Only things we had to gripe about were the palm trees blocking any view from the balcony and the beds being uncomfortable. Otherwise a good place to stay.

Great Room

Great condo for two adults and two small kids. It was very clean. The building is the furthest from the beach within the Gulf Shores Plantation complex, so it is a bit of walk to the beach/outdoor pool and there isn't an ocean front view. However, the indoor pool and hot tub is right by the condo. Overall, we would stay in the condo again.

Great location!!!

We love staying at Plantation Dunes. This condo was perfect for our family. The only negative I have is that the door code was to long. 4 digits can be memorized. This door had 10 digits, we always had to have a phone with us to look it up.

Great location!

This was perfect for what we were looking for. We wanted to be away from the crowds and near the beach. Great resort! Nice amenities that included indoor and outdoor pools. I would recommend! Hope to come back soon.

Nice quiet get away!

My husband and i spent a week with our cousins family of 4. Has plenty of room for 6 people. Its located in a not too crowded area and about 25 minutes to gulf shore town. The condo buildings are easy access to the beach and has many amenities on site. We really enjoyed our stay here and we are hoping to come again next year!

The location and beach access were fabulous! The umbrella/lounger service was above average for the price - it did end each day a little too earlier for a long summer day with the need for an umbrella past 5 pm. Family-friendly beach with nice pool options and showers/hoses to clean off the beach from self and gear. Having a dedicated parking area right in front of the condo was a plus for travelers.We were surprised there was no towel replacement service for a vacation rental with no washer/dryer in the unit. You had to take time out of your vacation each day to pay and wait through the process to wash & dry towels on another floor - inconvenient and unexpected.It was also weird to have a coffee bar nook laid out as a prop, with no ground coffee to actually make coffee in the morning following arrival that night. To discover the labeled coffee canisters were empty and no single pack coffee in the starter kit, necessitated a bit of a drive to get ground coffee and then come back to make late coffee and later breakfast.

Setting Beautiful - Amenities could improve

Location was nice and access to a beautiful beach hit the mark. Showers and hoses at end of walkway were nice to clean-off self and gear. Umbrella/chair service was above average for the price but did end a little early - way before having an umbrella out of the sun was no longer needed. Family setting that was safe and calm with distance from rowdier beach goers. Really enjoyed beach time. Much more to be desired...

First off would like to say the unit was not horrible as I have rented much worse from Vacasa however, for the price paid for the particular week I went (higher price than weeks before and after) it left much more to desire....the beds were uncomfortable, no counter space to prep anything in the kitchen, could use a small island, the living room furniture has seen better days and could stand to be replaced as it's dirty and lumpy and not inviting due to the lack of comfort, the rug was disgustingly dirty as it looked like it hasn't been cleaned or shampooed ever, it rained very hard one day and we thought we were going to have a flood in the unit because the water came into the door track and rose to the top but fortunately didn't Overflow, the balcony's view was completely blocked by the trees so not really a photo spot, the floors in the entire unit could use a good cleaning because after showering and walking barefoot your feet could be completely blackened, the master bathroom toothpaste drips on the vanity (ewww) and a water bottle cap left in the tub, lastly the ceiling fans could use a little cleaning. As for the good, well the building has an elevator so the second floor unit was easily accessible, the unit was well equipped as well as far as toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, etc. Inevitably would I come back to the area, yes, but would I stay in this unit, no thanks!
