Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You'll love the peaceful scenery and little traffic noise. You may be able to get in on a little airplane action! This quaint little apartment is in an airplane hanger, but if that's not your cup of tea, you'll hardly know what's going on on the other side of the hanger.
Just 3 miles down the road is the Ole Country Bakery, well-known for 100 miles around! Our favorite breakfast is the Quinten Biscuit, named after my dear husband!
This property is unique in that it has a train track that runs right on the edge of our property. Perpendicular to the track is our grass airstrip that often has planes flying in and out. My husband loves to give rides as he can.

Originally born in Macon, MS, my family moved to Charlottesville, Va. Married at the age of 18, I got to move back and live the life I dreamed of...being a farmer's wife. We've had 6 boys and life stays interesting!
Some of my favorite things are enjoying beauty...whether in a coffee shop, on a walk in the early morning, or on Youtube learning how to decorate and be more minimal.
Being a host is something I love so very much! You know when you find that niche in life that just fits you? That's hosting people in my short term rentals! I love having a satisfied customer, especially when they're more satisfied than they thought they'd be. I love meeting new people and learning what makes the world a more interesting place.

A mile-long lane will be your first thrilling experience. Lush Cypress trees line part of the drive and you'll get a view of the train track and the grass airstrip. Our oldest son loves a striped yard and he works very hard to keep it nice although he works full days on the farm and homeschools in the cracks.
You'll have a beautiful view of some of our crop fields, shady trees, and airplanes.
This neighborhood is peaceful. You'll love it!
