About this space
Relax with the whole family on this beautiful farmette located in the small town of Rockton, IL. Newly renovated home located on property with horses, goats and sheep. This home is located directly on the Hononegah Bike Path and just a short bike ride or walk to downtown Rockton and Hononegah Forest Preserve.
The space
Two story house. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms. Two of the rooms have a queen size bed, and the 3rd room has a set of bunk beds and a futon couch. Full size bathroom upstairs with shower/bath combo.

Main floor has kitchen, dining room, living room, 1/2 bath (toilet, vanity, washer and dryer) and a bonus room/office with a full size bed and desk. Outside seating available in front and back of house.

Farm animals reside at this property and do require daily care. Please be aware the owners make quick stops a few times a day.

We had a wonderful stay. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and the whole home was welcoming and beautiful--lots of attention to detail. The hosts were helpful and let us know that they were available if we needed them.

Brought my dog with and it was a very nice house. Felt very comfortable. One of the best places I've stayed and will again when i come back into town to visit family.

Awesome farm house!

This property was very nice, well kept. The host was fantastic and our stay was awesome. The animals were cute! Will stay here again when we come back to the area!

Farm with charm

From start to finish this farmette was very charming. Host(s) were great with communication. The sign to greet us was a wonderful touch to make us feel welcomed. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Weekend golf trip

We had 8 people looking for a weekend golf trip in the Rockford and Janesville areas. Everything was perfect and they were extremely responsive and accommodating. 100% recommend!

This home exceeded our expectations. Our family of 6 traveled from Nashville, Tennessee to visit family. The farm charm was the perfect warm welcome we needed. The home was so clean and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. The host was so responsive and accommodating. The highlight of our stay were the beautiful farm animals. Our kids loved petting Chex, he’s the sweetest thing! If you’re looking for a beautiful farmhouse conveniently located to all the amenities, yet has that quiet country feel. I highly recommend this home! We will definitely be back to stay the next time we are in town! Thanks for everything!

Exquisite Farm House in a Beautiful Location!

If you are looking for a beautiful property for a weekend get away then this is the place for you! This home has been lovingly restored and exquisitely decorated. It is cozy and welcoming and meticulously clean. The hosts have thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable and relaxing! The permanent residents include several beautiful farm animals which makes you feel as if you have stepped back in history. The property is also within walking distance of an amazing park! All of this, and just five minutes from all of the conveniences of town! Definitely a gem worth exploring!

Very clean

about the cleanest Vrbo ever stayed in, plenty of room, beds were comfortable, we slept well, plenty of room on property, with paved trail going by house, We did not use but enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching others walk, run, bike by. It is a century farm house that required searching for the single light switch in every room, and night time lighting was aa bit low for brightness or intensity of some fixtures to much , however the roominess, the remodeling inside and out, the cleanliness, the location, and almost everything you need provided, and the great weeklong stay price still made this a great place to stay, and we would stay again .

Lovely Stay in a Countryside Setting

Our stay was absolutely excellent. The home had everything we needed—clean, cozy, and well-stocked with all the essentials. The location was perfect, especially with the state park just a short distance away. The park itself was stunning and gave us the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and truly escape from everyday life.We especially loved the charming farm animals—they made us feel like we were going to laugh, by being so cute! The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, which made everything even smoother.All in all, this was one of the best stays I've had on VRBO. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the countryside.
