Milwaukee Road House (New) Historic Deer Lodge

This recently updated 4 Bed 1 Bath home sits in the heart of the Deer Lodge Valley. This home is within walking distance to Museums, Historic Montana State Prison Ghost Tours, Cutler Brothers Theatre, Grant Kohrs Ranch & Grocery store. It is an easy drive to Philipsburg, Discovery Ski Area, Butte & just 25 minutes to Fairmont Hot Springs. This is also a great stopping point between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.
The space
Our home offers comfort and privacy for groups that may need a little space. The kitchen is fully furnished if you would like to cook in. The living area is equipped with a large cozy couch and INTERNET TV with Netflix and Hulu or feel free to log in to your own Accounts and continue watching your favorite shows.
Guest access
The entire home is available to our guests along with garage access for storage if needed.
Other things to note
There is plenty of street parking, alley parking and a spot in front of the garage. You could easily park 4-6 cars around the home for larger groups or if you happen to be towing.

We got to watch the homecoming parade that went right by our home. Table with 6 chairs was great for playing cards.grocery store was a short walk away. The house was clean and a gas grill that we used a few times. Very nice thrift ships and shopping close by. I would stay at this property again next time we go to Deerlodge.

Nice place. Clean and well stocked. Only spent a night there. Scary to be on the road and not have information- such as address and access code. Difficulty getting information through website. Finally, someone at vrbo was able to help us out during our road trip.

Property served as a great base for our Montana fishing. Property was clean and very well equipped, besides being very well priced for value received. Host was quick to respond to inquiries, I would highly recommend.

Clean & comfortable place to stay! A perfect spot after our week in Glacier and our wanting to break up the trip to Bozeman for our flight home. We all enjoyed the Old Montana Prison & Automobile Museums then Kaffeination Station! Would’ve done more if we had more time. The grocery store was within walking distance, parking was convenient at the house & the kids enjoyed playing with the toys! Kacie was a great host!

Girlfriend Trip! We were in town for the night to attend the Big Sky Troubadours concert at the local theater. Home was close by-very clean and updated. There was parking for all 4 of us. I would highly recommend it.

Family stay

The house was spotless! It was close to the coffee shop, downtown and the kids, young adults and us old folks had a good time. It was a home away from home! I would stay there again....and again...and again!

Great place for Montana adventures!!!

There house is amazing. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 6! My boys loved looking in all the cupboards. The location is great for adventures! We drove to near by towns to see amazing sights. The kitchen was stalked with the small things we forgot for our stay, plus other things. We plan to book again to sight see more during the tourist season.

Excellent little house

Stayed for a work week with coworkers. It was so nice to have a full house rather than a hotel to cone back to after a full day of work.

Better than the photos!

My husband and i along with our daughter, son in law and 4 yo grandson were visiting the area and needed a comfortable and affordable home base for the week. We found that and more with this listing. We expected a bare-bones with only minimal furnishings house but what we got was a historical, very cute cottage that had all of the necessities and comfort to make our visit very enjoyable. It is within walking distance of a small grocery store and food options. The historical prison is one block from the house and visible from the front porch. The beds were very comfortable and the house was quiet. While we were there we ate Prison Pizza and 4Bs diner, both of which were great! The people we interacted with in town were very friendly. If our plan had included more time in Deer Lodge we would have liked our heads into the antique shop as well.
