The house is gorgeous! The rooms are spacious, beds are incredibly comfortable and there is lots for people to do. Everything was perfect and it is well stocked with little items you may need throughout the stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful home away from home!

We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautifully located right on the river, which made it feel peaceful and scenic. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, and the space gets plenty of natural sunlight throughout the day. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need, which made our stay very comfortable. Chris was fantastic! Very prompt in his responses and incredibly accommodating. He kindly extended our checkout time by two hours upon request.It’s about a 35–40 minute drive to downtown Ottawa, and getting an Uber can sometimes be challenging, so I’d recommend having your own vehicle. Other than that, the place is fantastic and we truly enjoyed our time here!

One the best stays ive found

My overall rating genuinely is that Chris is one of the best hosts I've stayed with, his home was amazingly prepared for us and near immediate responsive when I needed help. I definitely want to be coming around again.

Ottawa Tamarack half marathon weekend stay

We booked this because we were coming in with family to do the Tamarack half marathon and couldn’t have picked a better place. The home has two large beautiful decks backing onto the Nation River we never got tired of the view. The host Chris was very responsive from check in to check out. We found the home exceeded our expectations very spacious well equipped in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. We would definitely stay again.

Spacious summer retreat

The house was large and well equipped. Everyone had room and comfortable beds. There were all kinds of activities- canoes, kayaks and a large back lawn. We had a barbecue on the covered back porch on the ground floor and lovely evenings on the upper balcony. Grocery shopping was easy as there were several stores a short distance away in town.

Great country river community

Super nice house with plenty amenities and little necessities were included (towels, tp, coffee, etc.) Neighbors and neighborhood is very pleasant and welcoming. River is very peaceful. Great place for modern country life on the river, while being a short commute to the city.

Great spot

Exactly as advertised. We had a fantastic time sitting on the dock and enjoying the water. There were quite a few ping pong games and the bonfire was nice. Well kept property and house with friendly neighbours. Thanks Chris.

Beautiful property just 30 minutes away from the city!

The pictures don’t do this property justice! It’s exactly as pictured on the posting with 3 full sized bathrooms and 2 comfortable bedrooms on the main floor and 2 on the lower level. The host was very responsive with any questions you may have. There was 6 adults that stayed for 4 nights and plenty of space for all of us. There is everything you need in Casselman from groceries to a Canadian tire!
