The Comic House

Make some memories at the unique and comic filled house. That will bring out the Super Hero in You. Wide Ranging from DC comics to Marvel Comics. Come Relax and enjoy the house. In the words of Stan Lee “Excelsior”
The space
Each Room is full of life and comic characters. The two bedrooms are the Wakanda Romance Room and the Doctor Strange Sanctum sanctorum. For People with Mobility issues the house sits on slant due to the foundation in the city really can’t tell unless you have mobility issues.
Guest access
You will have access to the whole house even the outdoor deck. The storage room is for storage and is a no access.
Other things to note
Leave decor and items where are intended to be any damage or theft we be charged.

By far the most unique place I have stayed in on vrbo. It was a clean and pleasant environment and Trumone (?) was a very helpful and friendly host. We would stay here again.

Nice and Quiet

A unique home. Our kids loved the DC & Marvel Theme. It needed a little help on the cleanliness side of things. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was nice to find a place like this so close to family that we were visiting in the area.

Fun and funky retreat in the heart of suburban Clinton

We enjoyed our time here. It was a very convenient place to stay, close to shopping and eateries. The comic book theme was throughout and sparked a humorous whimsy to the property. Be aware that this is Mississippi, so there is humidity and its effects everywhere (no mold or mildew, just that saturation of moisture everywhere). It was nice being in an established neighborhood. People around us were friendly and welcoming.

The decor it really fun and the kids liked all of the super hero and comic book characters. The house has settled and the floor is really uneven. I had a really hard time keeping my balance and felt dizzy most of our stay. My little boy even lost his footing in the shower and fell. I felt as though I was walking up hill or falling as I got out of bed in the mornings. The bunk beds were broken and there were no flat sheets on the beds. Very strange to only have fitted sheets and a comforter on the beds. The closets were very messy with clutter and mixed matched linens for the next guest.

As fun as it looks

We loved staying in the Comic House! It felt like we were guests in our own private amusement park with the Marvel theme so artfully expressed. This house had all the comforts and conveniences of home plus we got to sleep in Wakanda, use Thor’s toilet paper and search for a Lego-sized Antman!

Great quirks, so so amenities

Everything super hero related was great. Kids LOVED the place. Check in and communication were great, neighborhood was good, seemed safe. Had a little trouble with lights at bed time but he was quick to help. Master bed was very uncomfortable, the whole house was on a slant, like hard to walk at times, and only tea for the Keurig. Would probably stay again, but know the bed in the master is tough.

Nothing less than amazing

The amount of details in the home was amazing and I learned a lot about different movies that I liked. I personally didn’t spend a lot of time in the house, due to the purpose of my trip, but every time I returned to the home I felt as if I was on a movie set. Not to mention, the host was awesome. Anything we needed he was only a phone call or text away. When we first arrived( we got there early) he was there and willing to help. Amazing place to stay.

Suited our needs

Came to stay at the comic house for a wedding, our niece was getting married and we needed a kitchen that would suit our needs to make her wedding cake, the kitchen was of adequate for our keeds, the host was able to provide an extra table to provide extra counter space. The house was very un level and it made my back hurt the whole time we were in the house, the hard surface floors appeared to be clean but my socks told a different story. Overall a good place toto stay if you are a if you can deal the very unlevel flooring. Ps the wedding cake was spetacular , thanks agian for the extra table

It was a great stay!

There is soooooo much detail in this home its amazing. So many things to read or check out and ways to have fun. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the home. The host was fantastic and made himself available if we needed him! There are a few thing that i wish i would have been aware of: 1: the house is on a slant. You can feel it when you walk and if you have vertigo or are clumsy i wouldnt recommend it. 2. Because of the slant most of the doors do not close all the way, including the primary bdrm bathroom door. (So if you are sharing that room with someone know you will not be able to close the bathroom door). And in the guest bath the sink is pulling away from the wall. DONT LEAN ON IT. 3. There are air fresheners and plug-ins (on high) EVERYWHERE. I was overwhelmed! Easy fix. We unpluged for our stay and pluged back in before we left. 4. The wakanda room bed is SUPER soft! It was much too soft for my husband and I and we were in pain every morning, but we prefer a firmer mattress. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend if people are aware of these things.
