We had a great stay in Branson this last weekend! The fireplace and jetted tub both worked flawlessly! This unit backs up to a wooded area, and it does not feel like you are just minutes from the main strip. The communication with the host was timely and efficient. I highly recommend this cabin...you will not be disappointed.

Nice stay

We had a nice stay. Always love the location of these cabins. This one was nice, it needs some updates and maintenance but overall nice. If they are going to make us strip the sheets before leaving, they should update pillows and clean duvet more. We were able to see the age and uncleanliness of them. We also noticed the sheets smelled a bit sour. One thing you want on a vacation is a clean fresh bed and sheets. Customer service is always top notch. Never disappoints.

Cozy but warm

The A/C had trouble keeping up through the heat of the day, and into the evening. Maintenance was very responsive, but said there wasn’t anything they could do. They did provide a portable A/C and large box fan to try and help, but it was still in the upper 70’s in the cabin. I don’t think there is a lot of insulation.

Very Dissatisfied

Good Overall, the cabin was very nice. Bad -No toilet paper in cabin -Gaslog fireplace did not work because the propane tank was empty -Little hot water to fill garden tub -Drains in shower, tub, and toilet were clogged and backed up into tub, shower, and toilet; rendering the toilet unusable -Sewer pipe under cabin broke -We were required to move cabins after being there less than 24 hours, and with less than 24 hours left on our stay. -The new cabin did not have the same amenities as the previous cabin, and the bed was like sleeping on concrete. -The Operations Manager (Chase) was extremely arrogant, and did not act like he wanted to do anything to improve our stay. He kept asking what we wanted; I asked what was Thousand Hills’ protocol for these types of situations. He replied with “these circumstances are unavoidable”, and failed to offer any suggestions. Finally, I politely asked if they could comp us a night’s stay, and he agreed. I will not be staying at Thousand Hills anytime soon.

Did not realize this was a multi-unit building, as opposed to a standalone cabin (headline reads "wood cabin retreat." We should have researched a little more thoroughly. Fridge was not working when we arrived; instead of replacing, Maintenance brought in a second, working fridge and left the nonworking machine in place and parked the working one in front of the unit's front window so it blocked our view. Two big fridges in the space, seemed kind of odd. Otherwise, accommodations were tight (too much furniture crammed around the bed!) but satisfactory. Mattress was comfortable; shower spacious. Will consider a return stay.
