This four-bedroom home is located 5 minutes from Keosauqua on hard surfaced road. Clean and recently renovated, the house sleeps up to 10 people and has a large fully equipped kitchen, dining room, 1 1/2 baths, Wifi, A/C, smart TV, and plenty of space to spread out in the living room, sun porch, or basement hangout.

With an amazing bonus of a large yard to enjoy, surrounded by trees, with a gazebo, picnic table, fire ring, and pond for fishing. Another extra bonus if you enjoy hiking and fishing, Lacey Keosauqua State Park and Lake Sugema are nearby!

Experience a special stay with the opportunity to view deer and turkeys that are frequently in the backyard and listen to the frogs, crickets, and owls at night while enjoying the views of the stars and the Milky Way! Best of all, you are only minutes away from all Van Buren County has to offer!

A few to many lady bugs in the house but they are kind of a pain to keep out otherwise no issues in the house. Outside there was an issue with whomever removed the flag pole they left a bunch of washers and nuts in the driveway no flat tires so that was good. Communication is great and looking forward to staying again, Thanks Tony

Thanks for the feedback Rob. I have it treated quarterly for bugs, but with the warmer weather the lady bugs are sometimes hard to from coming in the sun room in the back. I will make sure to double check and clean off the driveway, the electric utility company backed over the flag pole and then took it down. They must not have picked everything up. Hope to see you agan in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience. Tony

Great communication! Place was very cool! Literally had everything in the kitchen to make a full meal. Spices included. SUPER SUPER COMFORTABLE BED… house was solid no creaking or weird noises slept like a log. I’ll be back next year thank you!!!

Weekend trip

Very clean, great setup if you are traveling with a group of people. We were traveling with 2 families and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay! Well kept, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, set in the countryside. You have everything you need. Right off one of the main hwys. Close to town. We could not have picked a better place to stay!We were there researching cemeteries for ancestors and had great success!

Comfortable peaceful getaway

We enjoyed staying at this property, very clean! The beds and pillows were comfortable and the house was very spacious. All of our expectations were met. It is a very quiet property, a great place to escape to.

Spacious cool place for our family

Tony the property owner was responsive and let us in remotely when we messed up the unlock code. He was kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. There are two highchairs and two portacribs! The place was neat, it had a captains quarters man cave decorated with naval gear and a funky vintage bar downstairs, a living room, dining room, kitchen, lanai sunroom with AC, two bathrooms, and four bedrooms. My husband and I, our young daughter and baby slept great and the AC was ice cold. Thank you for a great stay.

Great time had by all!

Tony was incredibly easy to get in contact with and made a special trip to drop off a new grill and firewood before our stay. He was flexible with check in/out as their schedule allowed. The house was well stocked with most anything you would need, including a few spare camping chairs and fishing poles. Very spacious house and very comfortable for our group of 8.

Truely a peaceful getaway!

Tony was very responsive at communications and wonderful (remote) host! The home is secluded, clean, and so much space inside it's crazy! We needed a break from work and the QC and found this to be the perfect break we needed. So many awsome things to do within 35 mintues! Kudo's Tony on your service and the property!

We truly loved staying at this property. First of all the location out in the country was perfect for us. The property was well maintained. We loved the views of the trees and the pond with the gazebo, and even did a little fishing with the rods that they provided. The house very much has a country feel inside. Nothing fancy, but definately clean and comforable. Four bedrooms with plenty of beds, even a full size fouton in the family room which was great for hanging out and watching movies together. I mean this house has lots of spaces for relaxing. The family room, den downstairs, and a sun room with lots of windows for enjoying the outside view. My kids only complain about this trip is that they wish they would have had more time to enjoy relaxing around the property. Will definately consider next time we are in the area.
