My family of 5 had an excellent stay at The Ocean Manor Beach Resort. The condo had plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably for 10 days. The host Justin, was very responsive to our questions/requests and the provided beach chairs and beach towels were very convenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. Steps from the beach and a short drive to local restaurants and shops. We will definitely visit again soon!

The location is amazing also this unit is by the elevators. Tiki bar has wonderful food over the weekend, chicken tenders, grouper bites and tacos are all great! Beach was beautiful this time of the year. Water was amazing.

Justin was easy to communicate with and gave detailed instructions about the stay. The condo was perfect for myself, my daughter and her 3 friends (all 17 year olds) and the food at the tiki bar was great. The only issue is one of the girls is diabetic and we had some issue with bringing her outside fruit in to the beach, but after speaking with the manager, we got it worked out. That is more of a hotel policy versus the condo/Justin but wanted people to know they are pretty strict with that. Self parking or valet is 18 over night and then we stayed at the pool for the following day and had to pay another 6 for day parking..again, just letting anyone know that the hotel will charge another day if you decide to stay and enjoy the pool/beach after you check out. I would stay here again and everything was great working with Justin!!

Fun times

The unit was all we needed, although it could have been a bit cleaner. There was hair in the drain and just little things that were overlooked when clean. It is just an older unit that could use some love. We still had a great time and Justin is great to work with. Super nice guy!

Disappointing and Unsafe

This particular property was a first for us. Justin was very easy to talk to and was very helpful leading up to when we checked in to the property. Upon arrival and entering the property, we were met with a very strong Pine Sol smell throughout the unit. Since we had 3 children with us, we walked through each room to be sure it was SAFE and clean. Beds had body hair and dirt on the sheets, the sinks had residue in them, there was a definite smell of cats or some animal that apparently had been there. Being very allergic to cats and other pet dander, having a pet free place was very important to us. So the lack of cleanliness was very dissapointing. But the real alarming part of the walk through was that in the back "sunroom" that has windows all around, we found that one of the windows was open fully with no safety barrier to prevent someone or something from falling 5 stories to the ground. There was a tall table pulled next to the window making it very easy for a child to climb up and fall out. The windows had no safety blocks in them to prevent them from being opened all the way like you see in other multi family properties or hotels. Not feeling safe, we called Justin to explain our concerns and our desire to back out of our rental agreement requesting our money back. Justin changed from the very helpful owner to argumentative. He said he would meet us to refund the money but has been ghosting us since then. We're hoping vrbo can help.

Served its purpose!!

We met up with some friends who winter in Florida before we left on a cruise. The condo was as shown in the listing with the exception of “nicely furnished!!”. Needs some updating for sure!!

A Great Holiday Week in Fort Lauderdale

We had the most amazing experience staying at this condo! The breathtaking views of the Fort Lauderdale skyline and Fort Lauderdale Beach, stylish and modern interior, and top-notch amenities made my stay truly unforgettable. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and overall comfort exceeded my expectations. The Galt Mile location offered super convenience. A big thank you to Justin for providing such a fantastic place—We can't wait to come back!

Nice Cando and Perfect location

We like this condo property, has a tiki bar/restaurant which has good food and of course good drinks. Condo was great, clean and everything worked as expected. Especially liked the super soft Ugg blankets on the beds :)

Fantastic Accommodation

We felt right at home. The great room - living, dining - is very comfortable and huge. The kitchen is fully stocked even including a keurig with coffee pods (thanks!). The bedrooms each have an en-suite that would make your home jealous. And the beds were very comfortable. The property beyond the room enforces good rules to make everyone happy. We had no complaints with the room or resort. So happy. We’ll be back! Keagan

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Upon entering the unit we immediately smelled a STRONG odor of cigarette smoke. Two of the guests have severe asthma and one had to leave to retrieve her breathing medication. It was several hours before she could return (this happened to be the birthday girl celebrating her 40th birthday-the purpose of the trip). We used air freshener to try to mask the smell, but it was extremely strong. Shortly after we tried to use glassware from the kitchen cabinets, they were very dirty and had a dried substance all over one side. I immediately notified the host. His response was it is a non-smoking unit. Yes. That is why we chose it but it in fact WAS NOT smoke free at all. He asked if I got the glass from the dishwasher. I don't understand this response. Who retrieves a clean glass to drink from, from a dishwasher and not a kitchen cabinet as we did? The following morning while guests went between the pool and unit we discovered a large flood in one of the bathrooms. One guest had her entire suitcase soaked in water and had to travel to a laundromat to wash them. We immediately began filming the flooded area because we wanted the host to understand how bad it was. Several inches of water built up very quickly. The water came from behind a locked door. THE HOST NEVER SENT ANYONE TO STOP THE FLOOD!!! I have never been so disappointed by a “host”.

Good Unit and Great Location

The owner (Justin) was very polite and responsive to all my questions. The unit was clean and beautiful. All the essentials were well stocked. The beach and pool were wonderful. My mother is paralyzed; it was a really tight fit to get her into the shower stall and onto her shower bench. I'm not blaming anyone, that's just the layout of the bathroom. So, if you are disabled and in a wheelchair or someone in your party is, this is something you need to keep in mind. Overall, this was a great unit and we had a lovely time.

one night stay before a cruise

Justin is a great host! He called the day before we were to get there to go over everything. Justin was very helpful with everything from what was the best way to get to the resort from the airport to where to eat and everything in-between!

The Perfect Resort!

We did a girls trip and stayed at this condo for a long weekend. The condo itself was roomy and perfect for the 6 of us. The condo is located in an actual hotel/resort which made it so much better because we literally did not have to leave. The outside tiki bar was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu was large with so many delicious options. The bar itself stayed open past 3am on the weekend and had a fun night life atmosphere with a DJ. The condo/hotel is also located right on the beach, which was beautiful and very clean. You have the option to rent beach chairs and umbrellas as well. If we weren't feeling the beach, we then used the pool, which was also a good size and a lot of lounge chairs. There was an Italian restaurant located inside of the hotel, which we did not eat at but looked very nice. You're also walking distance to a grocery store, liquor store and a couple of cute shops. Very good experience and would 100% stay there again! Also, on last thing, the host was very helpful with recommendations and accessible through phone/text.

Fort Lauderdale OM Stay

We had a great time. We could walk everywhere. The owner allows pets and we have two large dogs. Everyone was welcoming and did not care about the dogs. There were many dogs at the hotel. We walked the beach at sunrise with the dogs and there were few people on the beach at that time. The condo was great size for us and our two children who are 18 and 21. The beds we’re comfortable. I suggest a book with local restaurants and menus. We stumbled about margarita Monday in Lauderdale by the sea. Excellent food and $8 margaritas on that night. We ate at the Ocean Grill, DaVinchys, Tiki bar and hotel Italian restaurant. The grocery store is only .2 miles away. We made several trips there and ate breakfast and lunch in the condo. We are coffee drinkers and cups were 6 oz size so we had several cups. Overall I would definitely recommend and Justin is available if needed. We had an excellent time. Sat by pool most days. Kids went parasailing in Pompano Beach which is only 5 miles away. And they took Uber for that. Great time for our family. Thanks. The Davidsons
