The host was responsive. Our stay was just OK, the home is a little dated and not maintained in my opinion. The pots and pans were worn and the teflon was peeling. The dishes were a mixture of all kinds. The furniture was so worn and some looked chewed by a dog. At first glance the home was clean but after staying there we found corners were cut. For example we found nerf gun darts where clearly they should have been found if cleaned properly. The small dining room tables wobble. The rugs were very thin and cheap. The hot tub water had a green tinge…due to the mineral content in the water. That would have been really nice to know. Unfortunately, the outdoor fireplace was boarded up…which was one of the reasons we chose the house and showed working in the VRBO pictures.We were staying over Christmas. The tree did not work. I expect the home to be ready for our stay. A family member cam by and put new lights on and explained the hot tub. The outside of the house was dirty. It needs to be pressure washed badly. There were small things outside that just spoke to the place not being kept up. The pool table needed to be re-felted and the sticks didn’t have tips left.
