Bear Paws: ubicado a pocos minutos del centro de Gatlinburg, el Ober Gatlinburg Ski Lodge y el Parque Nacional Great Smoky Mountain. 'Bear Paws' está a unas 3 millas del centro de Gatlinburg en la comunidad de Chalet Village.

El gran lote arbolado proporciona una excelente belleza y el ruido es prácticamente inexistente en esta área. El chalet es un hermoso A-Frame modificado de 3 pisos con 3 niveles completos. Disfrutará de 2 chimeneas de leña (1 en la sala principal y 1 en la sala de recreo). 4 habitaciones privadas para alojar a 8 personas cómodamente. Hay 2 dormitorios en el nivel principal y 2 dormitorios arriba. 1 baño completo en cada nivel. El nivel inferior tiene una gran rec. sala con mesa de billar, mesa de ping pong, muchos asientos, televisión por cable y una chimenea de leña.

La cocina está totalmente equipada con todos los electrodomésticos necesarios, como estufa / horno, refrigerador, lavavajillas, microondas, cafetera, tostadora, etc. Se proporcionan todos los utensilios de cocina y platos. También se proporcionan toallas y ropa de cama. Todo lo que necesita para suministrar son los comestibles. (O evite cocinar mientras está de vacaciones y disfrute de uno de los fantásticos restaurantes en el centro de Gatlinburg).

Justo afuera y escondido debajo de una glorieta cubierta, está la bañera de hidromasaje de 4 a 6 plazas para empaparte después de un día ajetreado.

Cerca de 2 millas de distancia se encuentra Ober Gatlinburg, una hermosa estación de esquí con excelentes pistas de esquí, una gran pista de patinaje sobre hielo cubierta, restaurantes, salones e incluso un zoológico de osos. El tranvía aéreo a Ober Gatlinburg lo lleva directamente al corazón del centro de la ciudad en 15 minutos y se puede ver desde el chalet cuando pasa por encima.

This was a great location for our stay. The house was clean and very welcoming. We loved the hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table for the kids to be occupied. The views were amazing and the owners were very quick to respond to our questions on things to do, or any general questions we had. I would highly recommend this location for your next vacation.

There were six adults in our group, and we had a blast! On separate occasions, we saw approximately 10–14 bears during our stay. One important tip for future guests: completely empty your car, make sure the windows are rolled up tightly, and keep it locked!We loved watching the bears walk past the cabin each morning. The cabin itself is a bit dated with some upgrades, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Also, be prepared for winding roads and steep uphill driveways — it definitely keeps things exciting, so pay attention while driving! ;-)Thank you for a fun and memorable stay!

Code on door was not correct. We waited 45 minutes for Rebecca to get back with us & give us a new code. There was trash around the front, interior doors had veneer stripped off in places, same with tables in living room.No drain plugs in 2 of the bathtubs. Rip in hot tub cover. Hot tub was fine, beds were comfortable, house was clean. We did get to see 2 bears eating berries by the driveway.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at check‑in. You arrived Sunday morning—one day after your scheduled check‑in—and unfortunately called while I was in an early church service, which caused the delay in getting you a new door code. I apologized at the time, and I appreciated your understanding during our conversation. Bear Paws is a mountain cabin that does experience some natural wear, and we work continuously to maintain and improve it. The hot tub cover was actually brand new before your stay, but a bear damaged it shortly after installation. The rocking chair shown in your photo is intentionally placed beside the house, away from the decks, because it is broken and not part of the usable furniture. We also address items like veneer wear and missing drain stoppers as soon as we’re made aware of them. I didn’t receive any messages from you during your stay, so I wasn’t aware of these concerns until reading your review. I’m glad to hear the cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, and that you enjoyed the hot tub—and especially that you got to see the bears by the driveway. They’re always a memorable part of the Smoky Mountain experience. Thank you again for your feedback. It helps us continue improving the cabin for future guests.

Nice Getaway

Was hoping the pool was within walking distance so we didn't have to load everyone up each time. Overall a very nice stay. We had bear visitors 3 of the 4 days.

The cabin was a great place for our family getaway. 8 adults were comfortable in the cabin, and there was plenty of space to sit and to spread out. It's also a great place to spot bears from the safety of the second floor porch! Make sure to keep your car doors locked.

The property had a good setup. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The living room was cozy with very comfortable seating. The beds were comfortable. We did have a little visitor in the home. Somehow a flying squirrel gained entrance. We qere able to get the little one out. We saw a few bears. The balconies were great to sit on and juat liaten to nature. The drive to the cabin was a little scary, especially at night, but we mastered it. All in all, it was a great place to stay and the owner returned texts quickly. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing place
