Camp Patasa ('Perch' en francés cajún) es una hermosa casa frente al lago para no fumadores con todas las comodidades del hogar en uno de los destinos de pesca más populares del mundo. ¡MASTERS BAJOS CLASIFICADOS TOLEDO BEND LAKE # 1 EN LA NACIÓN PARA LA PESCA BAJA! Puede disfrutar del aire libre o simplemente poner los pies en alto y relajarse en esta casa muy espaciosa.

Disfrutará del nuevo muelle y malecón, barbacoa y sillas al aire libre. Así que toma tus binoculares y observa a los pájaros mientras tomas una taza de café caliente o tu bebida favorita.

Por supuesto, no te olvides de disfrutar de la increíble pesca. Para el golfista, estamos ubicados a solo minutos de la clase mundial Cypress Bend Marina and Golf Resort. Wonderful home for a large family over the holidays. Plenty of room, the kids and adults enjoyed the pier, fire pit, & card games at the large table. We prepared Thanksgiving dinner and made memories. The hosts were excellent with communication anytime we had questions. Stores are not far if you forgot anything and boat launch also close.

Family Summer Get Away

Excellent location "secluded". House was spacious and well organized. Easy close walk down to a very nice dock. Family had a great time and would certainly book again. Short drive (10 Min) to grocery store, fuel, and bait. Really nice view for sunset and great firepit set up.

4th of July weekend

Property is in a great location. Loved the view. There was some mold on the shower curtain and crumbs under the glass of dining room table but nothing terribly dirty. The second day the upstairs toilet started leaking and the owner had someone come out to change the toilet. Otherwise we had a great experience.

House had not been cleaned since the last visitors stayed. Spent several hours trying to wash all of the bedding so we could at least have somewhere clean to sleep. Owner made aware, did not make attempt to send someone to clean it. Told us that there was clean bedding in closet, to only find sheets and pillow cases, no clean comforters at all. Spent the whole afternoon and next day washing bed clothing, owner stated we did not have to, but we did not want the clutter, and needed clean comforters. Also had to clean bathrooms, that had urine on toilet seat, trash was not taken out, and bugs were terrible. The only thing the owner offered, was a refund on the cleaning fee. Although that is better than nothing, we spent too much time on our vacation trying to make the house livable to only receive the cleaning fee.

Mice kicked us out

The house was spacious and fairly clean; I had to wipe out the nasty fridge before using it. We enjoyed the dock and spending time outdoors. However, there were mice that got into our food & dog food so we were forced to leave a day early. There were droppings everywhere! This was reported to the host & she apologized, arranging for the exterminator to come after we left. We asked for a refund for the unused day but have no response a week later.

Late family Christmas gathering

We are a large family that grew up with a camp at Toledo Bend and decided to celebrate Christmas this year over New Years and recreate some childhood memories and make some new traditions. Our family includes 20 people, ranging from age 6 - 70. 14 of us actually slept at the house and there was plenty of room. The house was a PERFECT size and layout for our gathering. It was warm and cozy, very clean. The indoor wood burning fireplace added to the charm. Kitchen appliances appeared to be new and the kitchen was well stocked. The long counter was perfect for all the food, and the open floor plan was great for a family of 20 to gather around. A few more towels and cozy blankets/throws would be useful. The outdoor fire pit area is large and was probably our favorite spot and the kids enjoyed fishing from the pier. The pier had lights beaming towards the water to attract fish at night and my nephew caught a pretty large catfish. The only outdoor recommendation I would make would be to update the pathway to the water, it is a little worn down and difficult to walk on. I would highly recommend this location and house for rental. Perfect for a large family or friend gathering, and perfect for children.

Weekend Family Getaway

Beautiful location. We loved the dock and porch. There were a few crumbs in the kitchen and mold/mildew on the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom. The house was old and a fixer upper. Very rustic, but we loved it!

Great place to relax!

The house and property were very nice! We all enjoyed our stay. We’re from the greater Houston area and Louisiana, so it was centrally located which made it convenient. Some fish were caught, but not a lot.

Cabin in lake

Place was nice but it wasn’t very clean the floors were filthy, the tubs had thick gunk and globs of hair in them. The towels and sheets were left in the dryer not even dryed. The bunk house took forever to get in because the lock was messed up. I payed a lot of money for this place to had have these issues.

Nice location, VERY friendly property manager/contact

The house is as shown in pictures. There is not internet, but there is satellite TV. It does not actually sleep more than 8 unless you rent the bunk room, which costs extra, but we did know this going into the reservation. The house was moderately/reasonably clean. There were some small things like moldy shower curtains, a dead wasp on the bed/window sills that were not enough to call the owner about but enough to notice. I had to contact the property manager when I could not get the door open (my own fault) and she was incredibly nice and helpful. When we arrived on a Saturday there was a notice from July from the local water treatment center posted on the refrigerator when we arrived saying the water was unsafe to drink so we bought all of our water until we called Monday and found out it was safe to drink. This was irritating but did not ruin the trip. The dock and cleaning station are great. Most of the kitchen/cooking utensils we needed were already there which was great. The furniture was all a little older/worn, which was not a big deal in the living room, but the beds were the same. Every single person in our group, including some young people with no history of back problems, all woke up with stiffness and back and/or hip pain everyday. Overall we enjoyed our stay but it would have been really elevated to a great trip if we could have gotten a good nights sleep and if we had known the water was potable from the start.

I am a South Louisianian whose family and friends have always enjoyed the Toledo Bend area. We decided to purchase a place on the lake and share it with others so they may enjoy our great outdoors with their family and friends.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with only local traffic.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It is situated on the Negreet Creek portion of Toledo Bend Lake which is known by the old-timers for being one of the best Sac-a-Lait (Crappie or White Perch) fishing areas on the lake, day or night. We have also taken many large basses and Patasas (Perch/brim) within short distances from Camp Patasa. For those who enjoy trout-line fishing, you can extend your lines between two stumps feet off the pier and land monster catfish to fry up or put in a couvillon. If you happen to land a spotted cat larger than 42 lbs, please take a picture and send it to me. Enjoy!
