We are situated 5 mins from scenic walking and biking paths, as well as Cordova Tower that looks over the beautiful Red Rock lake. Lake Red Rock is 5 mins away where you can enjoy all your water activities. If your a racing enthusiast you have 2 options, Knoxville raceway is located 15 mins south and or Iowa speedway which is 20 mins north. Interested in shopping? Delight in the charming town of Pella, it is a quaint Dutch town only 15 mins away. They have 2 amazing Dutch bakeries and meat markets. If you want to shop in malls then Des Moines which is 30 mins away is a great option. While you are at the farmhouse you can peer out the window and in the morning or evenings there is a great chance of spotting deer or turkey. This house sits on a working farm, providing an authentic rural experience, please note that farm equipment may be active during the day. Experience the best country living while being within reach of exciting local attractions. We have parking space for a camper or boat trailer but would like to know before you come if you will be bringing any of these items.

5 Stars – Perfect Country Getaway for a Group

We stayed at this amazing VRBO in Otley, IA for a long weekend and it couldn’t have been better. The house was very clean and well-kept, with all the comforts of home. Tucked away in the peaceful countryside, it had plenty of space for the six of us and amenities to make the stay comfortable and convenient. Great place to relax, hang out, and enjoy some time away from the hustle. Highly recommend for any small group looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat.

Great for family

Located in the country on a working farm, this family-friendly setting offers a great setting for a relaxing stay. It provided the perfect backdrop for quality time with family. Close to the lake, Pella and Tassel Ridge Winery. Owners were very responsive and left us homemade cinnamon rolls as a welcome gift. Highly recommend!

Great Place to Stay for a Golf and Boating Trip

A group of four of us stayed there over the Labor Day weekend. The house was great, very clean and large enough for the group. The kitchen had all the utensils and gear that we needed to cook for ourselves. The location is great, close to the lake, Pella, and the Bos Landen golf course. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and were easy to work with. We would be happy to stay there again next year.

Beautiful property!

Very peaceful setting with everything we could need. Only downfall was HWY 14 was closed due to construction so getting back and forth to the raceway took 40 minutes vs the 15 it should have taken. That is totally out of owners control so no fault there. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Farm getaway

If you are looking for a true country getaway, Woodland Estate will suit your fancy! Rolling green like yard with massive shade trees. You will see rabbits,bird and squirrels frolicking in the yard. Jason and Tabitha are a pleasure to deal with. Even if the are working the farm, they respond in short time. The new remodel is awesome! The amenities are off the chart. I look forward to returning in the future.

What an amazing home, loved the peace and quiet. My husband would go out in the front yard and watch the sunrises with his granddaughters was a very special time and place . Will definitely go back again
