Mountainside Condo Ski In Ski Out

Recently Renovated!! Nestled in the Berkshires, a getaway to Jiminy Peak offers everything you need, so close to home. Just a short walk back to your vacation home to relax before heading to dinner at one of our on site restaurants. Jiminy offers all that you need in a resort experience – lodging, dining, shopping and an array of activities and entertainment.

The space:
A privately owned unit at the base of Jiminy Peak. This unit is located on the top floor nestled away with only one adjacent neighbor. Yes, so no need to worry about any noisy visitors above your head. This unit offers unique amenities such as a boot dryer, games and movies, HD cable, high speed internet, Keurig machine, extra clean linen, stainless steel pots and dishes for cooking and basic cleaning hygiene products. A locker room is at the end of the hall to secure your equipment (key provided). The locker contains two pairs of skis and extra poles along with other gear that can be used at leisure by guests. The resort offers a year-round heated pool, 2 hot tubs, a gym, sauna, fireplace lounge and restaurants. Come enjoy the mountain!

Please check in at the Front Desk of the Country Inn. 37 Corey Rd. Hancock, MA. Check in time is 3pm. Must be 21 or older!

Other things to note:
Among the many things you will enjoy at our Resort, you will never be charged for a cleaning fee or a service fee. If you would like the apartment cleaned or clean linens delivered during your stay that can be arranged through the front desk.

The condo was very nice. It was clean and was well stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Frank was very helpful and responded timely. We stayed for 2 nights in Sept so the property was rather quiet as far as guests. The condo was at the end of the hall and quiet in regards to foot traffic. The only issue was a loud fan in the bathroom that was coming from a vent.

I booked this property for three nights but had to check out after only a few hours because it was uninhabitable. The unit was filthy, some kind of animal hair was everywhere (on the roll-out bed, couch, chair, rug, sheets, and floors), and had a terrible odor. It was completely unsafe and unsanitary for my family with two small children. I have photos and videos to prove it.I reported the issue to the owner through the Vrbo messaging system, but instead of responding there, he called me directly on my cell. On the phone, he admitted his cleaners hadn’t done their job and told me he would cancel the booking—but only over the phone, so it wouldn’t show up in the Vrbo messaging system where the Vrbo staff could see it. Despite my repeated requests, he NEVER canceled the booking properly. Instead, he issued only a partial manual refund, leaving me without the full refund I’m owed.When I called Vrbo support, they confirmed the owner should have canceled the booking and that what he did was against procedure to avoid penalties. To make matters worse, he later claimed we left a mess in his apartment, with no repentance for how we were forced to leave at midnight with two kids and scramble to find a hotel, then move again the next day on our special trip.This experience caused enormous stress, wasted time, and extra expense. This is not the first time we stayed at a Vrbo property. It was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this property.

The access information was only sent 1 day prior to check in. While the hotel is overall pretty clean, there were large bags of towels left right outside our door, which makes it look messy. The bathroom vent fan stays on and you can hear it from the bedroom. Sound insulation is not great and you can hear your neighbors when they speak loudly. We had a leak over the bed last night when it was raining. But overall, it is a good value for the Berkshires, and hopefully the leak can be fixed soon for the next guest.

Family Ski Vacation

Our family loved being right on the mountain for the easy ski-in and ski-out access. We also appreciated having a kitchenette to prepare meals in the room. We weren’t brave enough to try the outdoor pool but saw many kids enjoy it. We did enjoy the hot tubs though. Thank you for a great stay!

Cozy stay at Country Inn

Maybe a little bit old fashioned but charming appartment. We where happy that there was everything we needed to prepare our own breakfast.

Nice Place

It’s a nice one bedroom. Clean, plenty of kitchen supplies. It’s an on mountain condo, but no view of the mountain. It’s also up a couple of flights of stairs, I’d hate to be in ski boots trying to go up them. The couch converts to a pullout and our friend who slept on it said it was the most comfortable pullout he’s slept on. A nice place at a fair price.

I’m originally from the Berkshires. The unit was perfect in size and location. Those units could benefit from some updating Please remove all the rugs. They have been there since at least the 90s. They have that old moldy smell. Otherwise we had a great time

Fall foliage

My family stayed in the property only one night. We found the place very clean and well located. We had some problems at the check in because the host did not send me in advance the code to open the door of the apartment. But as soon as I called him he sent me a text with all the information needed, so everything was resolved with minimum delay. The apartment might benefit from having a simple electric water boiler. My husband and I wanted hot tea and although we tried the kettle on the stove and the microwave, we did not manage to have boiling water. Other than that. It was perfect.

Not what we expected

My husband & I stayed for one night to attend theater nearby. We didn't receive check in info until we called the host the day before. It was all very informal. Host texted the code for the door. The condo is very simple and dated but clean. Bed was ok. The biggest issue was that the room air conditioner is set to a motion detector. If there is no motion it shuts off, which it did a lot. It was a hot weekend. We notified the host, as soon as it happened (which was an hour into check in), frank, but he was not able to resolve the issue. We had to get up during the night to trigger the thermostat to kick on.

Very quiet room in the hotel. Communication with Frank was good. We only spent the 1 night so really can't review any of the amenities.

Just spent one night, welcomed the comfort, cleanliness and no surprises. Unfortunately didn't have time to avail ourselves of the amenities, which looked great! Would like to return during ski season!

Super for a quick stay. Jiminey Peak = fun spot, and this was an easy place to stay. Very quiet place within the hotel.
