We had a great time. We were able to walk from the patio directly to the pool and just beyond that was the beach access. Perfect size for our family of four plus a set of grandparents.

We had the best little vacation. While the men loved to fish, as well as some adult ladies and an 8 year old. All the ladies loved sitting along the shore enjoying the sun and waves while kids played in the sand. It was a perfect place to sit and read my book. The rooms were nice and welll equipped. The pool was much enjoyed in the afternoons into the sunset. Communication was excellent. The area is perfect. We love the little restaurants along the roadsides and also enjoyed grilling out and enjoying family time. We will definitely be back. Thanks from the Scott family.

We loved being right at the pool!!! The air was good and cold!!! Loved the jacuzzis tub in the master bedroom. Check-in was a breeze...........Everything was great!!!

Disappointed

Great location, with easy beach access. This place has so much potential but it kinda misses the mark. Sent a message to host but never got a response. If this place is looking to make a good first impression they need to clean the front door. It is black from many people opening it. The kitchen cabinets (outside) are dirty with drips down the front of the doors. The couch and arm chairs are filthy and need a deep clean. The rug isn't something I would walk barefoot on. I wore my shoes the entire time. There were spots of something spilled on the main bedroom floor. Ceiling fan needs to be cleaned. There are no toiletries other than hand soap bars. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body soap.

An alright experience at best - could use a good cleaning

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: At first glance the condo we booked was just like any other. But after settling ourselves in we found some shortcomings. Firstly, the living room furniture was dirty and was not cleaned well from the last guests. When setting up the sofa bed, we found a used blanket we assume was left from previous guests. Secondly, dirty silverware in the kitchen drawers which we had to wash before using. Lastly one of bunk bed blankets had something dirty on it. And a bathroom towels had some nasty stains on them. Not cool. While not all bad there were some things about the condo that makes it nice. The walk out pool was great!

Enjoyed

The stay was awesome. Friendly staff and we thoroughly enjoyed the quite stay. The tub shower in our unit could use a little tlc, but that didn't affect our stay. Access to the beach was easy. The pools were fantastic and the property was very relaxing and i would recommend anyone to stay here

Perfect family stay!

We loved this place so much! The pool is so close that you can sit on the porch and eat while watching your kiddos in the pool. The beach is perfect and not overcrowded like others. We will definitely be back again!

This condo needs some upgrades!I did not feel the room was cleaned!When we got there, it smelled like something was burning. There were tortillas in the oven. The sheets in the master bedroom had sand all in them. We had to wash them before going to bed. Pillows were very very flat! Bring your own pillows and any extra blankets!It is a nice place. We've stayed at the Inn the last 5 years. I do think the condo might need to add more things for the kitchen. Measuring spoons & cups, cutting boards, mixing bowls. Etc. I didn't think we would have to purchase these things. The last couple of rooms we have stayed in had more kitchen supplies! Also, the refrigerator did take two days to cool. My milk and cheese had to be thrown out due to this. Ice maker never turned on!We will be back but, will not use or recommend this condo from the Inn. There are other rooms at the Inn that provide for families to stay! This condo had the bare minimum. We always enjoy our stay! Dauphin Island is our second home!

Feels like home

This unit has the best access to the pool with it being literally steps from the door and it has a beautiful view of the beach. I would recommend this unit without hesitation and will likely return! We visit DI every year and where we stay varies upon how many family members come along.

Perfect Stay

My family and I really enjoyed this property. It's the second time we've stayed at The Inn. We like to stay on the 1st floor to access the pool directly from the back porch! I accidentally locked our car keys in after we checked out on Sunday and the on-call management was so kind in helping me out after check-out. 10/10 recommend!

Love Dauphin Island!

We have visited and stayed on the island several time and love the small town laid back vibe. There is always something to do. We stayed at The Inn. It was the perfect location, ground floor right infront of the pool which made it convenient with the kids. The kitchen is fully stoced with the basic needs, decent towels, plenty of hot water for us all to shower consecutively. I had to call and ask some questions before arrival and the staff I spoke with were friendly, professional, and helpful. The negative: The condo itself needs some deep cleaning, walking barefooted proved the floors have not been mopped in quite sometime. The rug thing in the livingroom was gross, hard and horrible to walk on. The small bathroom floor is pretty nasty all over. The master bath floor was nasty behind the toilet and around the walls. We put a towel down infront of the tub to step out onto after showering and the bottom of the towel would be dirty from the floor. I was hoping it was just from old grout thats lost its seal. The bedspreads were stained or just not washed ever. The white curtains in the living room are filthy from guests going in and out of the broken sliding glass door. The patio furniture coushions could be cleaned up too. Spare bedroom fullsize bed needs updated also. Maybe they just need a new cleaning crew. Even with all that, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
