This property was the perfect size for a couple's getaway or a small family. The location was great and the views were wonderful.

Was never able to contact anyone. Only a recording. No one ever even in the lobby office. Also TVs were way too hard to turn on. 8 remotes not necessary.

Overall, this place is great. The views are wonderful and the facility itself is great. My only complaints are that the floors could have been cleaned better. Our feet turned black from walking around barefoot. Yuck. And, the ocean is so far away. It is a good hike down there even with the nice boardwalk. Also, I couldn't hear the sound of the ocean from the balcony. Otherwise everything is awesome.

Pleasant stay!

This was our first time staying in a one bedroom condo, 5th time staying at The Inn. Not necessarily a negative, but know that the bedroom is at front of the condo, not on the beach side. The space was VERY clean. The photos didn’t show if the condo had a couch so were a little concerned about the set up of the living room, but there was a couch! Our only issue was the freezer seal kept sticking and we had issues opening it on occasion. We would definitely stay in this condo again!

Relaxing

Clean property with outstanding views! We love the Island and the Inn. Bed was comfortable, condo was super clean and well stocked with anything you would need while there.

This property and room was great! It was all we needed and access to the beach was very nice. All the amenities of home and just as explained in the description. The only advise (but definitely not a deal breaker) is please get black out curtains for the bedroom due to the outside lights being right by the window, nothing a couple beach towels didn't handle on this trip. We will be back to this property again!! Loved our stay!!

Pay attention to pillows

I love going to Dauphin Island and staying at the Inn. This was our first time in a single unit. I do not recommend. The bedroom is cramped and has no natural light. It's on the back side of the condo. Next time we will pay the extra for the next size up for a room. And please get some new pillows for the bed.

Lack of communication about access to property and how to obtain key prior to checkin. Gate code not provided and no procedure for obtaining key on Sunday.

Lock doesn’t work right

It could have been almost perfect if I had not experienced being locked out of my room every day I was there until I gave up , left my room unlocked, took my valuables to the car and locked them up every time I went to the beach, Pool, or left!This was unacceptable!!!I complained, I left a 2 page letter with the front desk.Never once did I get an apology and I was Livid!So unfortunately,that Peace I was looking for was ruined by Panic!It only happened when no one is at the front desk,besides 1 time!It felt intentional!You can get a copy of my kettet from The Front Desk if You like

Family of 3 vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean room, great view, perfect size for the three of us. Missing some vital condo essentials. There was no extra toilet paper. When advertising a coffee pot you would think there would be coffee filters, there weren't. They wanted us to clean all dishes before leaving which is fine, but if I only have a cup and plate, I'm not running the dishwasher. I would need some dish soap to wash by hand. There was none. Also no sponge or cloth to wash the dishes.There were wash clothes but we probably ruined some of them using them to clean some skillets. Don't plan on watching any T.V, it's only adds or pay for movies. The DVD/blueray player is a trick to get working. (We only used it once or twice for our 2 year old while we were fixing dinner or getting ready.) There are WAY TO MANY remotes. There were no extra trash bags for trash in kitchen or bathroom. Als, for a condo it seems standard to have salt, pepper, and sugar. Nope. Just something to consider. The master bed is pretty uncomfortable. It's not bad but really firm and on the smaller size. If it were my condo, I'd upgrade to a bigger bed with a softer mattress. I know these were a lot of things that could be improved, but overall it was a very nice place to stay. The view is incredible. We even saw dolphins one morning and has great access to the beach. The building overall was great. The room could just use a few of those essentials.

Quiet Beach stay

As we get older we appreciate a larger bed so we will look for one next year. We think the bathtub could use a rubber insert since our balance is not what it used to be. We loved buying fish seafood nearby.
