Welcome to The M'Homestead Cottage, our charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath farmhouse-inspired retreat. Our home, boasting 3 available beds is one block away from Texas Tech University and less than a mile to Jones AT&T Stadium! Nestled in the heart of sought-after Tech Terrace, this cozy home offers a perfect getaway for those seeking a taste of relaxing luxury. With a large backyard, fire pit, and well-appointed kitchen, you'll find everything you need for a memorable escape. You will love it here!
The Space:
As you arrive at the property, you'll be greeted by a large driveway and a private entry, just beyond the side fence. The exterior, complete with gorgeous paint colors, instantly sets the tone for a relaxing stay. Texas Tech University is just one block away!!!
The heart of the home is the kitchen, equipped with modern appliances, where you can prepare delicious meals. There is a Keurig coffee machine with an accompanying selection of pods, cookware, glasses, silverware, and dishes.
The living and dining areas are tastefully decorated, providing a cozy atmosphere for unwinding. Cuddle up on the sofa to watch a show on the smart TV or enjoy a good book or conversation in one of the many chairs in the living room. The couch also pulls out into a queen sofa bed to allow for another sleeping space. The bedding for the couch is stored in the hutch under the TV. You are welcome to download any apps on the smart TV but please make sure to sign out before you leave.
The main bedroom is a spacious retreat with a comfortable king-size bed and ample storage space. The second bedroom hosts a queen-sized bed with windows that look out into the spacious back yard. There are plenty of extra pillows and blankets for those that may need them.
The bathroom is in the hallway directly next to the bedrooms. Inside, you will find a tub/shower combo with plenty of sample-sized shampoos, conditioner and soap. There is also a hair dryer in the drawer for our guest's convenience. The washer and dryer is also located in the bathroom for those that may need to do some laundry while they are staying with us.
The large backyard is a true highlight, offering a spacious area for outdoor fun. Gather around the fire pit on cool evenings, roast marshmallows, and share stories. Host your own barbecue using the provided propane grill and enjoy outdoor dining under the stars. If you plan on using the fire pit and grill, please bring your own propane and clean the grill after use.
There is a security camera overlooking the front driveway and entrance. It records with motion.
Get ready to make some memories at M'Homestead Cottage. We can't wait to host you. We do require an electronic rental agreement to book this property. You must be in good standing to book with us and have positive rental history and reviews. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
**Please do not have mail sent to this property as we do not have the mailbox keys. If you are needing something delivered from USPS, you will need to contact the local post office to make pickup arrangements.**
Parties are strictly prohibited and any violation of this rule will result in an immediate $500 fee.
This property is not pet friendly so please plan on making other arrangements for your pets. There will not be any exceptions made to this rule and any violations will be charged an immediate $250 fee. Service animals will be required to show proof of registration BEFORE booking.
Please make sure that when parking on the street that you are facing the correct direction to avoid being ticketed.
We supply freshly laundered linens, bedding, and towels for all of our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand soap for a short stay. Long-term stays will need to replenish latter items at their own expense.
Although often there will be a variety of condiments, such as coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.

The M'Homestead Cottage is located in the sought after Historic Tech Terrace Neighborhood. Located within walking distance to local coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and one block from a bus stop, making this convenient to surrounding amenities.
Getting Around:
The M'Homestead is located close to everything. Main roads University and 19th Street are nearby as well as Loop 289. Quick access to everything Lubbock has to offer! Other than Uber Lubbock has City Bus Transportation. The bus stop is located one block west on 20th and Akron.

Parties are strictly prohibited and any violation of this rule will result in an immediate $500 fee.
