Host canceled stay 2 hrs prior to check in with 0 communication. Only found out after asking for entry code and host responded with “Are you checkin in today”. Then did not communicate further, just cancelled stay. Had to communicate with VRBO to get any other information.

NCAA Wrestling Championships

Four adults (65) stayed for a weekend to witness the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships held in Philadelphia. The house was an excellent location near the airport and sports venues. Great weekend retreat.

The space worked out very well for the 6 of us. The host was very responsive to questions. The place was comfortable and clean except the carpets probably needed to be shampooed before we arrived. Overall we were happy.

Taste of Philly

Wonderful stay in a suburb of Philadelphia, able to experience the culture and community. A quick drive to everything - airport, City center, Italian Market, Independence Hall, Passyunk! Wonderful cheese steak place within walking distance with friendly neighbors.

Historic Philly visit

Overall a good value and the space for 4 adults and 3 children worked well. We were able to take public transportation to historic Philly. Good communication with the host.

Great Time

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. Easy access into Philadelphia. Great communication anytime I contacted the owner. A great home for our large family. Very nice neighbors. Perks for the home that were important to us - great price, kitchen, king size bed in master, laundry, distance to Philadelphia.

Great Spot in Philly!

We were in town for a conference and loved this rental. The house is in a great location-- only 20 minutes from the convention center by car. This is a very affordable rental for anyone and offers way more than either a hotel room or a rental closer in the city. It was quiet at night, and the neighbors we interacted with were great. Strongly recommend this for anyone who is headed to the City of Brotherly Love!

Close to Philadelphia

This was a great location for us. It was a decent easy drive to Philadelphia, and close to gas stations, a Manhattan Bagel, Walmart and more. The accommodations were great for our group of 7. Television was nice and couch was comfortable. Place was clean and neighbors were very friendly! Washer and dryer were a plus for us. Great communication and super easy check out!

Great Place!

We enjoyed this property! We adventured most of the time we stayed. Would maybe suggest a few more towels as there weren’t enough for each person to have their own. We had two that used the sleeper sofa and ended up having to sleep on the couches. Springs were pretty rough. Otherwise great space, very clean and all actual beds were so comfy!!!enjoyed our stay!!

Okay rental

Nice host. Well taken care of albeit clear signs of it being a rental. Note that parking is in the back but only available exit/entrance is the front as you will not be able to lock or open the basement door. Recommend storing food all in plastic bins.

Great size for our family trip to Philadelphia

Property was easy to find with easy parking. Restaurants and stores within walking distance. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. However, it felt odd that the dishwasher had not been emptied for us and that there exactly 6 bath towels available to us - no extras that we could find. In addition, we were there on a warm weekend, but the A/C wasn't adequate for the upstairs, while the 2 people sleeping in the basement room absolutely froze to death (there was an open vent the size of a dryer vent pouring out all the cool air down there).

This was our Home Base for one week

When we arrived it was a little late and we were very tired. I had some trouble accessing the property but the host helped me out right away and we got right in, so thanks to him for that. The place slept six so we all had enough space. We were able to go shopping for food as grocery stores were very close. I found the back deck very nice to use early in the morning and again I'm the evening. They had everything we needed to prepare some food when we needed it. As we spent most of our time at our daughter's home in the nearby town, this was the perfect home base for us. I definitely recommend this location.

This place is located about 10 minutes from the airport and close to a ton of shopping centers, places to eat and walk. Downtown Philly is not too far of a drive either. The floors were a bit squeaky but that should be expected with an older house. I wish it had more tvs as there was only 1 in the whole house and it could do without the plug in air fresheners. It was very overpowering and they were plugged in throughout the whole house. All in all though I would recommend this place and stay here again.

Good for the price

Cleanliness: It was a pretty clean place, but you could definitely tell it was run down in some areas. Comfort: The main complaint from the group was that the beds were too stiff. I'd recommend the host upgrade the mattresses or buy mattress toppers. Communication: The communication from the host was good and fast, which was nice Location: A bit of a hike from downtown Philly, but I expected that. All in all, its exactly where they said it would be and the parking was easy. The neighborhood didn't feel dangerous Amenities: The TV and setup was good. Had plenty of streaming apps. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, but no soap. Price: Fine value for the price Noise: Quiet neighborhood Thanks for heaving us!
