Views - Updated Cabin on Walnut Mountain- Pet Friendly

Relax, unwind and "wine" down on Walnut Mountain. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or enjoying time with the whole family, the cabin offers the features to do just that. Enjoy a wrap-around deck, with mountain views from every area. Located in a private community which includes hiking trails and access to shared amenities, including tennis courts, swimming pool (seasonal) and a clubhouse. Additionally, there are fully paved roads allowing any vehicle to navigate. Winter Precautions: The cabin is located on a mountain where the occasional snow/ice event may occur. Roads to/from may be difficult to navigate. Outages may occur due to incremental weather but should subside within 48 hours. Please refer to the weather related cancellation insurance offered at booking.

The cabin is treated with scheduled pest control, however the occasional bug sitting is possible considering we are on a mountainside surrounded by nature.

The cabin is dog friendly, a $75 pet fee that will be applied at booking. By accepting the booking you agree to the following: 1) Pets must not be left unattended, if leaving the cabin, please crate them 2) Report any accidents immediately 3) Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture 3) Please utilize bed, bowls and blankets provided. Bathroom towels are designated for humans.
**Although our cabin is rigorously cleaned after each guest, please note that the cabin is dog friendly, guests with severe allergies should take caution**

Our stay here was very pleasant and comfortable. The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for a cozy family trip. We loved the view from the back porch and using the fire pit to make smores. We would be happy to stay here again!

Relaxing retreat

The views and surrounding area of this property were incredible! We only stayed for one night on our way back to Florida but wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Beautiful and clean with quite a view!

We enjoyed a very lovely stay. The home was spotlessly clean and the views were spectacular! Walnut Mountain is so quiet, plus it is quite close to downtown Elijay! We hope to return.

Weekend getaway

Came here for a quick weekend getaway/ husband's birthday weekend. The cabin is very nicely stocked with kitchen items, drinks, blankets. The view was great especially because its winter time we could see through the trees. The cabin was a perfect size for the 4 of us and our jack russell dog. Our teens liked having their own beds. Great location close to Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The downside was checkout is 10am and that's kind of hard to do on a Sunday morning wish it would have been 11 to get to enjoy the morning more. Other than that I highly recommend.

Up on the mountain!

The home was beautiful and large. The views from the balcony were amazing and the kids room had a great view from the window. You do have to climb the mountain to get up to the property but was very easy to manuever. Would love to stay again

Best weekend!

My husband and I stayed here with our pup for 4th of July weekend and had the BEST time! We cut our days short and made dinner at the cabin just so we could hang out on the deck in the evenings. The view is awesome, the neighborhood is quiet, the cabin has everything you may need and was so clean and comfortable. We loved watching the deer roam and we were lucky enough to see a bear stroll through the backyard! Such an awesome weekend and we can’t wait to come back!

Can’t wait to visit again!

My boyfriend, our dog and myself thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I only wish we had stayed longer. 2 nights just wasn’t enough. It smelled really nice inside. The master bed was super comfortable. The view was perfect. The weather was perfect. The cabin was perfect. It was super welcoming and the neighborhood was quiet. Although I wouldn’t call it a neighborhood. More like a quaint mountaintop road where some seriously cute cabins happened to be located. The host was so sweet and responded anytime I reached out. We can’t wait to book again!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The interior of the cabin features two full bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom and ensuite is privately located upstairs. A king size bed, TV and private balcony await overlooking amazing mountain views. If work cant wait, there is also a designated workspace located in the master bedroom along with sitting area. The second bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor with two full size beds and TV. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room, coffee and tea station (starter coffee and tea are provided) are also located on the main floor for guests to enjoy. Kick back and enjoy a relaxing living area, including a gas fireplace.
We truly enjoy the cozy interior, but the favorite spot is outdoors, and this cabin does not disappoint with a covered front porch where you are able to see mountain tops from opposite mountain ridges. Walk around to the back deck and enjoy year around mountain views!
Firepit and grill are also available. *Please take caution in navigating the steps to the firepit*
