This lovingly remodeled home combines the best of classic and contemporary style. Its a bright and light space, which features a beautiful kitchen will all the amenities you need to prepare meals including cooking utensils and a blender. Stepping into the dining room there is seating for 4 with a door going to your own private patio to enjoy the view of the San Bruno Mountains and the Bay. Moving onto the living room there is a 55" Roku TV that someone can stream Netflix or Hulu to watch their favorite movies and tv shows if you decide to stay in for the night.

Both bedrooms and bathrooms have a unique feel to each of them. The front bedroom has a Floor to Ceiling Map of San Francisco including Treasure Island with night lights on the nightstand and readily accessible charging ports. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a rain showerhead along with a 43” Roku TV to play your favorite shows.

We needed a space to celebrate Thanksgiving with our Bay Area family, and this was perfect. Comfortable bedrooms, clean and fully stocked bathrooms, and kitchen along with both indoor and outdoor seating fit the bill. We even had a Weber to roast our turkey like we do at home! Haley was very responsive and the location was close to Bernal Heights Park where we could get daily exercise and enjoy the beautiful views of the city. We will be back for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at this stunning top-floor rental in Bernal Heights! The apartment was bright, spotless, and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The neighborhood felt very safe and is ideally located, with great restaurants, cafes, and parks all within easy walking distance. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made the check-in process seamless. It was the perfect home base for exploring San Francisco, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!

We stayed for three nights and very much enjoyed the flat. Super clean with nice amenities. The host adds many nice touches, like sleep masks and ear plugs (though you don't really need them). There is plenty of street parking, though it is a little steep for those who aren't used to SF streets, but we are. The host is very nice and communicates well with her guests. Busy Cortland street with many restaurants is close by, as is a huge park if you have dog. We would highly recommend this place to stay.

We had such a lovely experience staying at this house! The location was ideal—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful enough to truly relax. The kitchen and dining area were beautifully set up and made it easy to enjoy meals together, whether we were cooking or just sipping coffee in the morning.Communication with the host was excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We also really appreciated all the thoughtful touches: house slippers, fresh coffee, and access to a washer and dryer, which made our stay feel extra comfortable and convenient.It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel at home here. We’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped place in a great spot!

Visiting daughter and family in Bernal Heights

Great property on the same street as my daughter's apartment so it was very convenient. I often borrowed my daughter's car and found ample parking on the street. Walking distance to Cortland Street and very convenient to the freeway.

5 day stay

The property was very clean, 15-20 min from downtown SF, had a lot of amenities, and was in a fairly quiet neighborhood. The steep hills were hard to park on but there is plenty of parking on other streets. The back patio is shared with other people and includes the washing machine and a propane fire-pit. The inside of the property was very cozy and had plenty of space, although the furniture can be a bit stiff Our hosts were very friendly and had great communication during our stay.

We didn't actually stay here, we arrived and my husband and son immediately started having breathing issues due to the mould / we immediately booked a hotel told the owner that we couldn't possibly stay due to the mould issue and left to a hotel. We got a refund for the VRBO portion of the 1 weeks worth we had booked after speaking to the VRBO rep on the phone however we never got a refund from the owner even though she said she would give us one. It seems to me that they put nice looking renovations on a rotted structure and thought the mould/ must wouldnt bother people, even I could feel it i my throat by the time we booked our hotel and walked out of there. My husband literally coughed on and off until bed that night just spending 15 minutes in there. Another strange thing that makes me strongly suspect we weren't the only one's to hightail it out of there was that she sent us 2 different rental contracts and agreements to sign once we had already paid through VRBO. I guess she figures this prevents people from suing her or getting their money back. Luckily we do have one final recourse though, our heartfelt and honest reviews we post right here.

We really enjoyed our stay here in Bernal Heights! The space was very clean, and it has super comfortable beds! It has a great kitchen and cooking supplies, along with the basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee, tea, and they also provide some very nice snacks. Communication with the host is excellent, and they respond very quickly, and answered all of my questions. They were transparent about the space being near the freeway, which was the only downside for me, but only because I am a very sensitive sleeper. My husband had no issues with the vehicle noise, and it only bothered me a handful of times when a load truck or motorcycle would drive loudly. We loved the backyard space, and that walking to Bernal Heights park was just up the hill - so beautiful! It was also helpful to have a washer and dryer on site. We would very likely stay again, despite the noise from the freeway.
