This is a hotel. I needed a place for guests to stay that take dogs. I rented this place thinking it was a home (my mistake, it indicates hotel in the description). The rental was 4 suites for 4 days.I went to the hotel to pay the dog fee, and discuss my guests. I made sure the guest names were recorded so the check in would be smooth.I asked if the fourth room could be refunded, and the hotel said no.Our guests used three of the four rooms. The day prior to the guest arrival, the hotel called me and asked to allow them to rent the fourth room, but still refused to offer a refund for the fourth room. So I said no.On check-in, one of the guest rooms had cockroaches. When my guests informed the staff, they said they could get an exterminator in the morning. They did not offer to move my guests to a new room (ie the unoccupied room I had paid for) and stated that no other rooms were available. Ie the fourth room I had rented was no longer available to my own guests… even though I had paid for it. This seems theft to me.Two of my guests left. I requested a 75% refund and was denied. The hotel left me a rating of “Terrible” as a customer, but my money must have been ok as they are keeping it. So I’m out 1600 of the 2300 I paid for the rooms. They even refused to refund the pet fee for the unused days (the pet left with my guest).The property appears fine, just in need of maintenance and bug spray. The problem is with management.
