As you walk into this beautiful remodeled home in Monroe, you will be delighted with the charm and decorations. 3 Bedrooms and 2 Baths, cozy fireplace on the cold winter nights and a firepit with swings in the back yard. Every amenity you need in a fully stocked kitchen. Separate dining room will be a great gathering place for eating and playing games. The primary room you will enjoy a comfortable King bed and the other two rooms have Queen beds. Everything is new!

The house was perfect for our family use on our son’s wedding weekend. Plenty of space for six adults. Everything we needed was there, but John Supermarket and CVS are close by for any quick things needed. Thank you Ginny for wonderful accomodations!

Weekend stay

We stayed for four nights and it was incredible! The property was stunning and an absolutely wonderful location to downtown Monroe. The pictures were accurate and we found the property to be even more cozy than the pictures depicted. We absolutely would love to stay here again!!!

in town for UGA grad with family. Not a bad drive to Athens. The house is very nicely decorated and comfortable.

Charming Home with Great AC, but BYO Toiletries

The house is beautifully decorated and the AC runs cold, but future renters should bring their own soap and shampoo.

Cute Cottage in Monroe

Cute remodeled cottage in downtown Monroe. The only two negatives are only 2 vehicles fit in the driveway, unless you park on the grass and there was not a toaster. The king sized mattress is very comfortable, along with the bedding, but we went to Walmart and bought a portable fan since that bedroom did not have a ceiling fan. The other 2 queen bedrooms had ceiling fans. There were six of us, all family, and we were very comfortable in this cottage.

Sweet Home in Monroe

This home was spotless when I arrived, the beds were made and the AC was on which was great considering the GA heat! As a mom I'll say, it was the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. Cozy clean kitchen. Nice host, she was pleasant and responded in a timely manner. I know some people read reviews and not listings so I'll add two notes here. 1. The parking fits two cars in the driveway, one car in front of the other. 2. There are stairs down to the king bedroom and stairs to get into the house.

It's a house.

Nothing was outright terrible, but by no means was this place spectacular. The one bathroom between the "upstairs" bedroom was kinda small but serviceable. The other bathroom is not nice at all. Instead of a tub there is a shower that was built in but it lacks anywhere to place your stuff. The floor of the shower is hard uneven stones. This place is clearly a flipper house with odd design choices that seam fine until you get a close look at them. It's fine for a place, but I would be chose it again.

I am sorry you felt that the house was not spectacular. It is an older house, as much of them are in Monroe, that has used the space as well as it can be used. Its charming interior provides 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths for $250 per night. One of the least expensive in town. We have added pictures of everything so you can see it in advance. It has been fully renovated with everything new. I am so sorry that the floor to the shower was rough on your feet. In the linen closet there is a shower mat for your convenience. It sticks to the floor. We do our best to provide a quality home at an affordable price. This rental is highly rated and I am sorry it fell short of your expectations based on its price point.
