Made our transition to Austin seamless!

We adore Katie and her home! Her communication was incredible and anytime we had normal issues she had someone there to fix it asap! Our kids were blown away by the toy room! Huge perk!

Home away from home...

Our stay was extremely comfortable, fun and playful. All of the toys available for my 3 year old son were a game changer! We played dress up and had so many different fun game options, it was honestly refreshing. We made loads of family meals and had great communication with our host, Katie. This home is highly recommended! Thank you Katie for sharing your home! Happy New Year!

Amazing welcome to Austin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Katie's home, it was especially perfect for our family, including a toddler and baby. Katie made special preparations and everything was as advertised or better. We had a long term stay and I would highly recommend Katie's home for both short and long term guests of all ages and numbers. Katie was a very responsive host and made everything a breeze. Highly recommend!

Family Gathering

Really great property with helpful communication from owner. Really enjoyed privacy with the many bedrooms and bathrooms. The out door space was helpful as well. Cute house!

Chic Family Home

Katie was so sweet and incredibly accommodating! The house is beautifully decorated and upscale. For a bachelorette party, it was more family friendly and lived-in than we had anticipated, but we made due. Overall, the style of the home and the warmth of the host made it a great stay.

Our family enjoyed our time together in Katie’s home. It was very roomy, and had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We walked a lot around the huge neighborhood, and played tennis (pool wasn’t opened yet). The neighborhood is in a great location -convenient to a lot of attractions.

Easy Weekend Getaway with Friends

The property is a nice house in a nice neighborhood with lots of places for people to sleep. This would be particularly good for a couple of families with kids to come enjoy Austin. The property was as described and clean. The host is easy to communicate with and was very clear about her expectations, which worked out fine for us.

Rental for 11 People

What an awesome house close to Zilker Park and downtown Austin. Nicely furnished with all the comforts of home. We had 11 of us with plenty of space. Definitely would rent again.

The house was fantastic, had plenty of room for our group and enough coffee mugs to supply an army. Great location for getting to/from Zilker Park, would definitely consider renting again for ACL. Make sure to read the check-out rules when you get there to avoid being charged extra.”

Great home! Esp if traveling with kids!!

My husband and I were in Austin with a newborn and a 2 year old, and Katie's home was perfect for both of them. There were blackout curtains in both of the kid rooms upstairs, and there were 2 play areas full of toys for our 2 year old to play with. The house was very clean, and Katie was a great communicator throughout. We will definitely be staying here again when we go back to Austin!

Spent a weekend in Austin visiting friends who also had toddler aged children. The house was perfect for the kids to stomp around; plenty of space for them and lots of toys. Playground and swimming pool were just a 5 minute walk down the street. Perfect amount of towels as well. Great stay overall, would defintiely consider again.

AWESOME House in a quiet neighborhood, easy to get into town or head to the hill country

My group of friends wanted to meet up in Austin to celebrate a friend's birthday for the weekend. I found Katie's home and everyone agreed the price was right split up 7 ways was fair. We didn't have any kids with us, so we didn't make use of the toys/games in the house, but they would be great for travelling families. The amenities of the home were perfect, with plenty of bedrooms, a great living area, and plenty of room for folks to hang out and relax. All the expected amenities were provided (towels, soap, etc), so it was easy to just show up and settle in quickly. Katie was EXCELLENT at communicating prior to our trip, and responded to our inquiries with professionalism in every way. Cleanup instructions were provided and easy to follow, and were both posted on the fridge, and provided in the binder with the home's info/instructions in the kitchen. All in all, a great weekend, and would consider staying at this property again.

Very pleasant stay

Katie was an excellent host. She was very accommodating. We were in town for SXSW and had morning sessions to catch, so requested an early check-in. Katie met us at her home that morning and allowed us to drop off our bags prior to check in so that we could get to the convention center without lugging our bags around. Her home is very comfortable and stylish and the layout is great if you have a group. There were 6 of us (three couples) and each our rooms had it’s own bathroom either en-suite or right next door. The location was also great. Not too far from downtown, in a quiet relaxing neighborhood. However we did find that is was far enough away that we would only make one trip out each day. So if you’re attending SXSW or any other events downtown, I recommend bringing a back pack, layers, comfortable shoes, etc and being prepared to stay out all day. Overall we had an awesome stay, highly recommend!

Beautiful family friendly home

We stayed at this property during ACL weekend. Two couples, one teenager, a toddler and grandma.. we had plenty of room. The home is beautifully decorated and equipped with a wonderful play area for our toddler as well as baby gates on the stairs . My teenager could have used an additional TV in the house during football watching time but it was no biggie. The owner, Katie, was wonderful about communication and her rules are very clearly laid out upon check in. The kitchen and dining areas suited us perfectly, she even had a booster seat waiting for my toddler as well as a pack n play. We didn't cook very much but everything we needed was readily available. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and perfect for taking walks/jogs with the family. We usually travel as a couple to this event and stay at a hotel but wanted a larger area this time for the children. We would definitely use this house again if we travel with the children again. *one note, all the bedrooms are upstairs. Thank you for your hospitality Katie! Please come decorate my house! 😀

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable home!

Katie, the homeowner was incredibly nice and understanding in trying to accommodate to my needs for my bachelorette weekend. Her house rules were straight forward and very easy to follow. I felt right at home. Would definitely book her home again!

Exactly what we needed!

This was the perfect home for our busy wedding weekend! There was plenty of room for all of our family and a couple of friends and a lot more comfortable and affordable than getting 3 or 4 hotel rooms! The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast for everyone (the only meal we had to cook while we were there) The large bar area and big dinning table provided plenty of seating for us all to eat at the same time! The house is beautifuly decorated! In fact, as my son and I walked around admiring the decor, we both decided we would love to have the owner come and decorate our homes. The home is perfectly located, with just about anything you need being a short drive away. (If your a mall person, you need to go to Barton Creek Mall!) This would be perfect place for a family with children! There was a child size table and chairs, toys and wonderful books! The owner was very easy to work with and made sure that everything was okay upon checking into the house. We would definitely book this home again if we needed a place in this area!

Hi my name is Katie and I was born and raised in Boulder, CO, which is why Austin is a perfect city for me... similar culture and vibe. I love the artsy, one-of-a-kind nature of this city from amazing restaurants, live music, and the beautiful scenery of rolling hills and lakes to play on. Because I have two small children, my house is PERFECT for adults and children. 3000 s.f. with a great playroom and amazing deck and back yard. My neighborhood, Travis Country, is just 10 min from downtown Austin and has two neighborhood, parks, playscapes, swimming pools, a pond, and miles of greenbelt. This house has 4 bedrooms. Master King bed, guest room with a queen, a trundle bedroom (two twins) and a kids room with two, twin bunk beds as well as a queen sleeper sofa. A full size blow up mattress, and pack and play are also available upon request. I have a washer and dryer, and two wonderful playrooms filled with a variety of toys for all ages. Cable, netflix and Apple TV all available here.
