All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Love "Lost Dunes"

We stay at Lost Dunes every year and always have a great experience. Perfect for families. Across the street from public beach access. A few blocks to a market. Easy to get to restaurants.

Had a great stay at this location. The location to the beach was great. I do have a couple of complaints about this location. 1) The kitchen needs to be equipped to better. If you are planning on cooking at this location for a large group, it will be very difficult. Not serving utensils, had to use a mugs just to serve grits.2) Grill could be updated abd cleaned. It was filled with old used coals and the grates were disgusting. Overall, this location was cleaned and accommodated most if our needs. Would stay again!!

Pros: Location was good. Short distance to beach. Easy access to and from house. Cons: Cleaniliness was not great. There was hair on the wall, upstairs shower.Bunk beds are uncomfortable to sleep in, matress has no support.There were several bathrooms door knobs broken.

VACATION STAY

First time visit to Gulf Shores. Property had a great location. Three minute walk to beach. It was extremely clean and very well furnished. Would definitely return to this property again when we return to Gulf Shores. Highly recommend!

Great Location and Beautiful Decor

We started our vacation with another company that lost our reservation and left us stranded. When we found this place, we jumped at the opportunity and could not have found a better place to finish our vacation. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very nice. It was perfect for our family of 6 and had every thing we could ask for.

Best week spent

This place was truly the best family spot for us! House had everything and more. Was walking distance to the beach and surrounded tons of food, bars and shops. Can totally see us coming back in the future

Good location

Well located, short walk to the beach. Plenty of full bathrooms to support larger groups. Kitchen was not well stocked with pots, pans and mixing bowls and those provided looked very old. There wasn’t a broom available so we ended up having a lot of sand in the house by the end of our stay.

Upgrades needed

I liked the layout of the house. It worked perfectly for our family of 12. However, some of the bunk bed mattresses are in desperate need of an upgrade. Also, if you plan to cook at the house for a large group, you might want to bring your own pots, pans, and silverware. There is not enough silverware for everyone to use at meal time and the pot and pan selection is poor. Didn’t even have two useable large skillets to make pancakes and eggs at the same time.

Lost Dunes is clean a great family home

Right as we walked in we were struck with how clean and comfortable the home was! The kitchen is not amply outfitted but has what you need for simple cooking. The rooms are small but just what you need, and the extra bathroom downstairs was very helpful when it came time to rinse off after the beach! It is clear the home has been kept up very well. It is just a short walk around the corner to the boardwalk that takes you to the beautiful white sand and cool water. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Gulf Shores.

Great House with short walk to the beach!

The house was overall great! Short walk to the beach with a crosswalk. Very clean and comfy furniture in the living room area/kitchen. The house is at the backside of the property so it’s more quiet than the ones right next to Perdido Blvd. This makes the walk a little longer but still under 5 minutes from front door to sitting on the beach. The master bedroom mattresses were very comfy. The bunk bed mattresses are very cheap and uncomfortable. Adults were sleeping on these for a bachelor trip, so they may be better supported for kids. You could feel the springs and slats very easily. Kitchen had a lot of cooking necessities. The grill was a small charcoal grill and very cheap so plan for that if you look to use it. We made burgers with no issues on it! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Nice Stay

It was over all a great stay. Clean, great proximity to the beach and access to the pool and hot tub were a win. There were a few things other things to mention, though. 1. Master bed was unmade. We reached out and this was remedied quickly. 2. The remotes in the two middle bedrooms were missing and the switched on the walls also did not work, therefore no ceiling fan and it was stuffy and uncomfortable. 3. The tv remotes in both middle bedrooms also did not work.

Great for families

Great location! Bunk beds are a little creaky but it met our needs even if it bothered a few of the kids. King beds were great! Loved all the bathrooms and the setup of the house. Rinse off outdoor shower in car port and hoses were nice to have too. Also it does have a beach wagon and a few chairs and beach toys when we were there which helped. The home needs a broom, a cutting board was not there so we bought one and left it. Needs more silverware for the size of people it accommodates. Only had one kitchen towel. Bought a spatula and left it cause the only one there was half melted. We had to replace a few of the lightbulbs that were out in carport. I really appreciated the quick follow up on the ceiling fans not working in kids rooms due to safety reasons of possible injury. Also got the freezer door seal issues fixed quickly and they responded quickly to our issues with keypad. Overall it was an amazing deal for the location and the beach was just gorgeous and weather amazing. Would definitely come back again.
