Steve the host was very accommodating!I really appreciated him getting us a high chair for my visiting grandson:)He was very helpful when we had questions about the apartment.The balcony had a beautiful view..saw some lovely sunsets and sunrises:)We had a few issues with the tv but a new battery in remote resolved the issue.We would definitely book this apartment again!

Loved the proximity to the river. Perfect to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view or walk beside the river. Lots of restaurants and services a short drive away. Close to the beautiful Gatineau park. A short drive to downtown Ottawa and the sights and museums. The suite is spacious well kept and has everything you need. Stephen was an excellent host.

Lovely apartment, very spacious, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and ample off-street parking to the rear. Best of all was the balcony overlooking the most amazing view across the Ottawa River. The location is excellent, peaceful with a rural feel yet 10 minutes drive to central Ottawa. Great artisinal bistro 7 minutes walk away. Host Stephen was very welcoming and communication was always prompt and helpful. We would happily return any time.

Our family of four came to Gatineau to relax and hike. The property and house were beautiful, clean and well maintained. The location was superb as it was across from the river with walking paths. Our dogs loved their home away from home. Stephen was accessible to us and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants nearby. We will definitely be returning!

Gatineau on the River

Property was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The porch was great to hang out on. Location was perfect for our trip, we went into Ottawa /Parliament Hill one day and went to Gatineau Park another day—easy drive to both places. Owner was very responsive to the few questions we had.

Work vacation

After working all day the home was very warm and the area beautiful with the river across the street. Hopefully I get to work in the area again so I can return to this home

Very accomodating

We traveled there to visit family. The only reason the location was challenging was because of the morning and afternoon commute times to Ottawa. The house itself was wonderful - fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. The host was terrific and always answered quickly if there were any questions. We traveled and then happened into a blizzard but the owner kept the driveway clear so that we didn't have any issues!

Nice getaway

We really enjoyed the house. Loved the view and location. Only negative was the stairs as we have mobility issues so the volume of stairs was a concern. Overall we had a great time. Thank-you for sharing your home with us.

A Place on the River

Just wanted to say that I can't think of anything I would change at this listing/house. Our stay was just terrific - the place clean, tidy, well appointed and the host was very helpful and communicative. We look forward to a return visit in the future - perhaps without the big snow storms! LOLFinally, the location was easy to get to, beautifully situated on the river and the sunshine flooded into the house to create a wonderful atmosphere.Thank you Stephen! Cheers.
