Cozy cottage located in rural Central Ohio.

Looking for a place to unwind & relax? Come stay at The Green Cottage. It is located in a rural area of Ohio, 45 minutes from Columbus and 1 hour south of Holmes County/Amish country. You can sit on the wrap around deck and enjoy the sunrise and a cup of coffee. The lofts are not accessible. We have Spectrum internet available here. There are Amish living here in the community and so you might hear numerous buggies going past.

Country Comfort

We traveled from SC to enjoy Thanksgiving with family. The Green Cottage was ideally located midway between my brother's houses. We especially liked the heated floors. We hope to stay here again next time we travel to OH to visit family.

peaceful location

Cottage was really nice. Every little thing you could imagine was there....kitchen items, bathroom items & movies, books and games. Was a peaceful place to unwind and very nicely decorated.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin is perfect! So cute and indeed cozy. It was the perfect distance to get to and from Kenyon College for parent’s weekend! I have never had such great communication. Will definitely stay again if I’m back in the area!

Refreshing Getaway

The cottage is SO nice. It's located in a very peaceful area. There's a great deck to hang out on, and watch grazing cows. My husband and I will definitely be back next year for a little vacation. We loved it!

Baseball tournament

We came to Utica for a baseball tournament and this was the perfect little home away from home. Had every amenity we needed. We finished our tournament up a day early but loved the cottage so much we decided to stay the extra night

Great peaceful getaway

This was our very first rental property experience and it was perfect. The cottage is just a cozy as it looks and the host Bethany is very quick to respond. This was a great get away for a peaceful weekend and we loved watching the cows and calf’s playing from the back deck. Truly a reset for us. We can’t thank Bethany enough for this stay!

Green Cottage

Two-night stay was wonderful. The place is as described and better! Very comfortable and cozy with all the amenities you need. The property was beautiful and I enjoyed watching the deer run through the fields and jump the fence. I was there during the Northern Lights spray and felt lucky I was out in the countryside for the display. Thank you sharing such a wonderful property - I will be sure to stay again next time I'm in the area.

Rural Bliss

My sister and I stayed at The Green Cottage while visiting my daughter at Kenyon. Amanda was in contact the day of arrival and had the porch light on for us when we arrived. From the moment we stepped through the door we were in love with the cottage. It is charming, well appointed, tranquil and cozy. We hosted my daughter and her roommates for dinner one night and used the fire pit on the perfect little patio and marveled at the amazing star display above. Can’t recommend highly enough. If you’re ever in the area treat yourself to a stay.

This is the community we've grown up in. There are beautiful sunrises here and I have a favorite spot for sunsets just down the road. We have a neighbor that has sourdough bread, cookies, and produce items available at a self serve station. You can find her at Pick a Peck Farm on Facebook.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It's located in a rural area of Central Ohio but in 15 minutes you can be in Mt. Vernon and approximately 30 minutes to Newark. There is a Dollar General just a few minutes away in Martinsburg and Sugar &Spice (a deli/bulk food store) in Utica. We offer a fully furnished kitchen (minus a dishwasher)along with a few staple pantry items.
