Kick back and relax in this serene, stylish retreat located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Enjoy the quiet from your private patio and yard. Relax by your private fire pit. Check out the stars in the night sky. Historical downtown Nevada City and Grass Valley are within a ten minute drive. We love our close access to epic mountain biking, hiking, swimming, boating, kayaking, and skiing. Or enjoy our nearby historical towns’ local shops, restaurants, wineries, and breweries.
The space
Our newly built, light and bright guest house is located on three acres of gated property surrounded by oaks, pines, and pastures with the main residence nearby. You’ll enjoy the private, single level, 750 square foot space with fully equipped kitchen, separate dining, living room, bathroom, and queen bedroom with upscale linens. Small sofa in living area pulls out to twin size bed for additional sleeping space. Central heating and air will keep you comfortable. We love the mature landscape offering lush grasses, shade trees, flowering plants, and various areas to sit and enjoy.
Guest access
Guest house has shared main drive and private access as it is separate from the main house. Shared grill is available upon request.
Other things to note:
Upon request, enjoy shared access to our pool to help cool off on those warmer days. Upon your arrival you will likely be greeted by our two friendly dogs (a goldendoodle and a bernedoodle) who help keep an eye on the place and keep some of the wildlife on their best behavior.

EV Charger: Available for an additional fee. Please note that due to amperage limitations at this time we have found it is not advisable to run the AC and charge your vehicle at the same time. Note: we do have a Tesla adapter available.

Pets: Up to 2 friendly pets are welcome with advanced notice for a flat fee of $100 per stay.
