Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Beautiful, well appointed, brand new all wood chalet style construction with amazing Mt Hood and nearby Columbia River views. Set in a serene open stand of trees well spaced from any neighboring properties. Close to top kite and windsurf launches, wineries, White Salmon River rafting and kayaking, and incredible fishing, hiking and mountain biking. Incredibly quiet yet only 5 minutes from the best downtown White Salmon restaurants. The whole house is available as shown. We do use a small basement apartment with separate entrance next to the garage for ourselves at times but we will not bother you.

What a beautiful home! Our check-in was seamless and the view was beyond belief. We couldn’t pull ourselves away. We appreciated the spaciousness of the home and comfortable bed. A lovely place to stay with truly memorable surroundings.

A lovely home situated high on the hills outside of white salmon. Yes the view of Mount Hood is accurate from the living room and is spectacular, and walks in the neighborhood are really pleasant with the view of the river as well.Home was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Just be careful with the ladder going to and from the upstairs bedroom as it is rather steep, but other than that, a fine place to stay.

Such an amazing view!

The property was perfect for our needs. We used it as a base as we traveled around the Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood area. The view of Mount Hood is unparalleled! The deck is perfectly located with comfortable seating and is covered in case of rain. The house has everything you need. We would definitely stay again given the opportunity!

The chalet is a special property listing.

The chalet is a special property listing. Newly constructed with the architectural flair of an Alps chalet. Top-of-the-line appliances, first-rate amenities and a lovely décor. Oh, did I mention the glorious views of Mt. Hood and the prancing wildlife in the yard? Picturesque and peaceful! Easy access to Hood River over the bridge and centrally located to the many museums in the Columbia River basin. The village of White Salmon was more delightful than anticipated with enjoyable breweries and restaurants. My wife and I very much enjoyed our week-long stay and highly recommend the chalet for your consideration. Five stars!

Wonderful place and view

Had a miscommunication first night with cleaning crew, but they corrected amd were great about it. Thats all someone can ask. Would definately stay again.

Great getaway

Very good house in a quiet area with a great view. Nice finishes. We had a great getaway with 2 adults. A couple of things to consider: it is about 10 min to the bridge into Hood River (a toll bridge). Second is that the ladder to the loft would be tough for young kids. Thanks for having us. We would stay again!

Beautiful place, wonderful stay!

We loved it….. Views are amazing! Very well equipped with all you need! My daughters throughly enjoyed catching the adorable frogs that live behind the patio furniture cushions! (Be sure to look under and around before you sit) I wouldn’t say this is a negative because the loft is adorable but I wouldn’t put super small kids or anyone with any climbing limitations up there. The ladder is pretty vertical. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for allowing us into your home ❤️

Spectacular beauty

This home is just beautiful itself as well as the views and location. It’s was incredibly clean with great amenities/appliances. The beds were very comfortable. We had a very comfortable restful stay here. I would highly recommend a stay here!!

We’ve been coming to the Gorge for many years from Seattle and eventually decided to build our chalet here. My wife and I are both windsport people (kiting, winging, foiling, you name it), but we also love all the myriad other amazing activities that the Gorge, and especially the White Salmon area, offers.
