Casa de 2 dormitorios con loft, gran sala, televisión por satélite, teléfono, Internet "no se admiten mascotas" Amplio porche con mesa de picnic y hamaca y sillas Capacidad para 9 personas, lavadora y secadora, estufa, microondas, cafetera estándar, licuadora Tiene acceso a 250 acres de bosques para practicar senderismo pero no para cazar. Hay senderos para vehículos todo terreno en el bosque estatal Sproul, que está a solo 15 minutos en automóvil. También la presa Alvin E Bush en Kettle Creek está a solo 15 minutos. Este es un lugar perfecto para alguien que busca unas vacaciones relajantes en el 'PA Wilds. Hay osos, ciervos, coyotes y otros animales salvajes deambulando por los terrenos. El agua es suministrada por un pozo y las aguas residuales son un sistema séptico. No tenemos un sistema de purificación, por lo que recomendamos no beber agua (la usamos para bañarnos, lavarnos y limpiarla). NO DISPONIBLE EN MESES DE INVIERNO. This cabin is more like a home. The interior is beautiful and has a lot of room for a family. It is meticulously maintained and was immaculate when we arrived. There is so much room outside to explore. We sat on the porch in the morning, drinking coffee and watching the deer. Amazing place!

Peaceful. Quit. If that’s what you’re looking for this is your place!!! Surrounded by big forest on a dead end road you’ll definitely love it. Yet it’s only 10 minutes or so from the highway and close to everything you need. The cabin itself is clean and up to date with everything you need for a great stay!!!

Lovely mountain property, house was clean, comfortable and the most well stocked of any Vrbo property we’ve rented, which really made for a home away from home to just be able to enjoy with extended family. It’s little things like not having to worry about picking up dish or hand soap or laundry detergent, just one less thing to worry about on vacation, that I really appreciate. Kitchen cabinets were thoroughly stocked with everything you needed to cook- even plentiful spices! We enjoyed spending much of our time on the porch together during our stay. Our extended family said we should make this an annual thing and said this was the perfect location. The owner is very kind and thorough to ensure we got there okay and had a great stay. The loft area is fantastic for kids and there’s even a little outside balcony for them to enjoy. The beer mugs left in the freezer to frost up was an amazing touch. :) Would definitely return and recommend.

Cabin is in a very remote location and is perfect if you need that sort of getaway. This was our second time renting and the owner was very pleasant and helpful to deal with!

Great remote getaway among the wildlife!

This was a nice cabin with all the essential amenities in a very remote location! We saw lots of wildlife including deer, a turkey and a bear. The owner (George) was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great experience!

Short weekend

The property owner was very kind and personally took time to meet our group to ensure we could find the camp. The cabin is tucked away on service roads and GPS directions were at times questionable compared to the way the property own took us to the camp. Once we were at camp the property owner went over a feel mechanical items within the camp and also shared great stories and conversation about the cabin. He had also shared with us a great fishing stream which we would end up spending all of our time there over the weekend. It was the most trout any of us had seen caught in a weekend !

Perfectly quiet mountaintop getaway

We stayed here during the weekend for the Hyner Trail Challenge. It was a perfect location for that. It was just remote enough to be quiet and relaxing, but close enough to Hyner for easy access. The cabin was just big enough for the 4 of us. As I sat on the front porch, a family of deer crossed right in front of me. And the stars were incredible, as we sat around the fire pit each night. We all agreed we'd come back here, especially if we run the race again next year!

Beautiful and remote

This is a nice, well appointed cabin on top of a mountain. You will see wildlife ( deer, turkeys, maybe a bear.) Be advised that you will have to drive to natural attractions. We expected this. George is great and you really only need to bring food. Everything was better than we expected. If you want peace and quiet this is the place!

Mountain ⛰ Vacation Getaway

We booked this home to relax and get away from our busy work lives. George was so nice and friendly as he met us to show us up the mountains, he told us some amazing hunting stories of him and his son's. His property was very clean and well stocked. We only used one room but all the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We spent alot of time outdoors taking walks on his beautiful property (so much to see). We saw a ton of Deer and Turkeys and even 3 cubs and a Mama bear visited us twice through out our stay. We had so much fun during our time here, such a beautiful home to stay in while doing so. Thank you George and Family For allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, We will definitely book again.

Our stay at the cabin

We enjoyed our stay. This is the place to go if you want to stay in the forest. We did some night sky photos from a spot further down the road. George suggested that location. My husband is anxious to come back.

Mountaintop Getaway

We enjoyed the secluded cabin with a open floor plan. The best part was the large front porch where we all spent alot of our time. Unfortunately didn't see any bears but did see a rattle snake on the lane into the cabin. The owner was very helpful and friendly and hope to stay there this fall as well.
