Newly renovated and boasting amazing mountain views, you'll be elated to return to this 3-bed, 2-bath abode each night after adventures in the stunning Ruidoso area.

Newly Remodeled | 2,200 Sq Ft | Situated just 10 minutes from Ruidoso's Midtown and a short walk to a bird's eye view of the Inn of the Mountain Gods.

MASTER SUITE: King-sized mattress, private balcony w/ panoramic views, 65" smart TV, en-suite bathroom w/ double vanity, walk-in shower, & jetted tub
OUTDOOR LIVING: Private yard, 4-person outdoor dining table, gas grill, 6-person hot tub, wildlife viewing including turkey, deer, elk, & bears, views of Sierra Blanca, Grindstone Lake, & Midtown
GENERAL: Free WiFi, towels/linens, central heating & air conditioning, ceiling fans, washer & dryer
PARKING: Driveway (2 vehicles)

POLICIES

-No smoking
-No pets allowed
-No events, parties or large gatherings
-Fireplace is not operational and should not be used for a fire.
-Due to multiple stairs required to access the main living area, kitchen, & bedrooms, this property may not be suitable for travelers with mobility impairments.
-There is a noise ordinance in effect from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily.
-It’s important to note that this property is up a relatively steep grade that can get icy or snowy in winter months. In Icy and snowy conditions all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive is highly recommended to reach the property.
-Your safety matters. There is a Nest doorbell security camera, located next to the front door, and a Nest camera on the side of the house facing the far side of the driveway. They do not look into any interior spaces.
-The garage is not available for guest use.
-Must be at least 25 years old to book.
-Photo ID may be required upon check-in.

Spring Break Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at this special mountain home. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed watching the elk, deer, and wild turkey roam the property. The hot tub was much appreciated enjoyed each evening.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was beautiful, neat, and clean and had a great view of the town, mountains, and lake. The backyard was small, but we got to see deer and turkeys cross through each morning and evening between the neighboring fences. My little ones loved soaking in the hottub and playing in the game room. Andee was super responsive when we arrived a little early, and the checkin and checkout process couldn’t have been easier. We were all sad to leave on the last day.

Incredible place!

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations! The hosts were amazing - they texted us letting us know the house was ready ahead of schedule and we could have access early! The house itself was everything we needed!!!! Seriously, they have thought of everything! The location was perfect, super close to midtown. We are already talking about going back for another stay in the winter!!!!

Driveway is STEEP!

The property is fabulous- 10 out of 10. The only issue we had was the driveway. It snowed on us the day we arrived and could not initially get up the driveway, even in a 4x4 truck. We used a snow shovel provided on the property to clear the driveway and eventually made it up after some more attempts.

Great getaway

The house is great but the best part is the view. 2 different porches overlooking the mountains - one out of the living room and one out of the bedroom. Exactly what we needed. Communication was host was great. Loved every minute of our stay.

Amazing Get-Away Spot!

The views and neighborhood above Ruidoso were perfect— we loved the quiet of the mountainside and patios overlooking the range. The deer and wild turkeys and hummingbirds were fun for my 8 year old and rancher father-in-law (and any nature lovers!). We cooked meals, played games, took great walks, and just really felt welcomed and at home in the space.

Best house and views

We had the absolute best time celebrating our 25th anniversary here! The house is cozy and nicely appointed. We enjoyed staying in as much as getting out! The owners are so helpful with suggestions and you can tell they want you to have the best experience. Hot tub in the evenings was the perfect way to end the evening. The deer and turkey in the yard in the mornings was sweet, too! Thank you for sharing this beautiful space. 🤗🇺🇸

Amazing property

The property is amazing, it’s updated and in a great area with extraordinary views. The property has a fun game room and a nice living room to relax. Will stay again and would love to see TV’s put in the bedrooms, only draw back.

The view is amazing!

It is a fabulous property, especially for the price. I spent quite a bit of time preventing our young ones for breaking things. I’d lean toward teenagers and mature acting adults as guests if I were to rent it again. It’s almost too nice to be a rental. The garage is off limits which made negotiating the driveway a bit of a hassle. The fireplace was also not to be used which detracted a bit from the experience. I would rent again but not with small children. It’s more for a mature crowd that can appreciate the amazing view and tasteful furnishing

Loved It!!

Home was beautiful! Views were perfect! Wildlife was amazing! Kids loved the downstairs area. It was quiet and peaceful. Perfect place to get away!

Best vacation rental I’ve stayed in

We loved our stay at this property. The house was incredibly clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. There were also plenty of supplies, above and beyond what you’ll find at most vacation rentals. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Native Sky cabin for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. The view from the balcony alone is worth the trip, but the cozy and modern feel of the house makes you feel right at home. They have thought of everything you need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highlights for us were getting to see deer every morning, watching elk, eating dinner on the patio, and soaking in the hot tub after hiking all day. It is a great place to stay for a couple or for a whole family. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular sunsets

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and well suited for our family of 5. Appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and many other thoughtful touches. Andee is so easy to communicate with and has gone above and beyond to make this home an enjoyable place to stay. HIghly recommend!

Summer 2020 Vacation

We spent 5 days and 4 nights in this stunning home during late July. The home is exquisite and the view cannot be beat. There a A LOT of stairs so be ready to climb a lot. The entry way is on ground level and you take one flight of stairs to the living/dining area. The two guest bedrooms are also on this second floor. Both bedrooms are nicely appointed and the shared bathroom is spacious. One more flight gets you to the master bedroom which is equally well-appointed. Our hosts, Andee and Chris are prompt with communication and the entire stay was wonderful. We will definitely come back again, both to Ruidoso and to Native Sky Cabin!

Our cabin is perched near the summit of Dude Mesa, boasting an impressive elevation of 7,461 feet. The journey up there is a feast for the eyes, providing captivating views of the beautiful natural landscape that surrounds it. Upon reaching the cabin, it's not uncommon to receive a warm welcome from the local deer and turkeys. Once you make your way to the third-floor primary bedroom, prepare to be absolutely awestruck by the breathtaking views that await!

Definitely the views! But secondly, the design and vibe of the place are different from most cabins in Ruidoso. We designed the home to be reflective of New Mexico's beauty and culture, while also being light, bright, and modern.
