Welcome to My Kentucky Home, a lovingly restored 1930s Craftsman residence, blending historic charm with modern luxury. Centrally located, you'll be close everything in town. And when you return, unwind and watch the sunset from the rooftop terrace, prepare a meal in the fully equipped chef's kitchen and sleep in premium comfort. With decor featuring works by several Kentucky artists, you'll enjoy a genuine sense of place that warmly feels like home. Personal concierge services are also available.

Within three blocks, you'll find a park and public golf course, our favorite takeout breakfast spot & bakery, a great butcher shop, a brewing supply store with craft beer on tap and growlers to go, and a two coffee shops. (details for these and more in the Guidebook section)

Family had a great stay over a short weekend in Bowling green @ “My Kentucky Home”. Margaret was an exceptional host (great communication and hospitality) and the property was in great condition. We’ll definitely be back if visiting bowling green again.

This is our second time staying here and it was amazing. The house is spotless, it has everything you need for your stay, lots of room to accommodate the guest, is in a great location and the owner always gets back to you quickly if you need something. We will defiantly be staying there our next visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home while in town to watch the Hilltoppers play!! This house was spottless, beautifully maintained, and had such a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent!! One of the sweetest touches was the lovely gift basket and card waiting for us upon arrival....such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. We highly reccomend this home if you are looking to stay in BG and we definitly plan on returning!!!

Everything about this house is perfect!

Margaret is a fabulous host! This house is perfect for your stay in Bowling Green. Plenty of space to spread out but also cozy enough to spend time with one another. We had everything we needed and then some.

Perfect stay!

Great place with everything you could possibly need while you stay! The location and amenities was great for us and the home was very clean and welcoming. The welcome treats were so nice and Margaret's communication was excellent. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent Property

This property is furnished and outfitted with everything needed for a wonderful stay. The hostess goes beyond the call of duty to make sure everything is ready for guests. Property was clean and well maintained. Thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay at this property.

Comfort, convenience and cleanliness in Bowling Green

Stayed in Bowling Green (a mom and 2 teenage boys) for a tennis tournament at Buchanon Park. The home was very clean and welcoming upon arrival. Margaret pays attention to every detail. Beds were comfortable, everything appeared as shown on listing. 5 minute drive to more restaurants than you could imagine. We will be back.

Home away from home

The house was so cozy and inviting. The kitchen was a dream and there were plenty of pans and dishes to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. Margaret offered multiple times to pick up any groceries we needed since we were flying in. We had a baked surprise and the lights were on to welcome us.

Fantastic house convenient location

This house is everything the online listing shows and then some. The host even provided homemade sourdough bread and homemade candy and had it waiting for us on the kitchen counter when we arrived. It was the best bread we have ever eaten! Location is perfect- only a short 13 min drive to the Corvette museum and convenient to a variety of restaurants and movie theater. Easy to rate this one five stars!

Best VRBO ever!!

Went to visit my son at WKU for a long weekend and found this gem! Upon arrival you could feel how welcoming it is. A beautiful setup and beyond welcoming. When we arrived we were both thinking WOW, she has thought of everything. Setup is beautiful, there were only 3 -5 of us for the week but had everything. I enjoy cooking so we took advantage and I made pasta with the pasta maker. The welcome card was great to receive. Margaret's attention to detail is topnotch. Two TV's in the living areas were great to keep everyone together. This is our go to when visiting our son at Western Kentucky University. Margaret, thank you for the wonderful time!!

"My Kentucky Home"

This was by far one of our favorite VRBO experiences! Margaret is the most thoughtful and warm hostess! She made us feel welcome even before we arrived and upon arrival, we were met with so many personal touches. She was also easy to contact with any questions. There are wonderful amenities, the house & all items are perfectly clean, generous availability of linens, toiletries, dishes, games, books etc. The decor provides interesting & beautiful variety of local color that was fun to enjoy. The house has such charm & character, including outdoor seating and so much room throughout the house. We hope to be able to stay there again - it truly felt like we were being personally welcomed & cared for in a beautiful home!

Exceptional is an understatement!

Exceptional hospitality and thoughtful amenities is an understatement. This listing promises a lot and over-delivers! We went to Bowling Green for a wedding and long weekend, never dreaming that before checking out, we would book a 10-day vacation later this year. Not for any event or special reason. Simply to come back and stay here! Not everyone bases their whole vacation on what the rental is like. But we do. Sure, we want comfortable beds which they all are. A kitchen with all the right equipment which it definitely is. Our enjoyment comes from relaxing, cooking and just "being" there. That's not to say there's any shortage of convenient shopping and places to eat...all within a very short distance. There's more than plenty of that. My Kentucky Home is a home we were sad to leave. There's no need to elaborate on what Margaret has written about her place. Printed words and pictures, although 100% spot on, can't fully capture the experience of walking through the door into this pristine home. Another point that makes this place a cut above is her generosity in allowing us flexibility in checkin and checkout time. We cannot wait to go back!

When I was a full-time pharmacist, this house was The Resurrection Shop - my part-time happy place, where we made old furniture new again, hosted art classes and best of all, met so many wonderful people.

When covid restrictions forced us to close the business, followed by tornado damage in December of '21, we chose to completely renovate the property for people visiting Bowling Green, so we can once again welcome new friends to our home town.
