Mountain top villa- breathtaking views & huge pool

Unique mountain-top villa with a thatch roof, large pool and patio, and spectacular views. Experience the beauty and adventure that surrounds you at Casa de la Loma. The furniture throughout is handmade by local craftsmen, painted murals add vibrancy to the space, and the big custom shutter doors open up to the unreal sunrises/sunsets that take your breath away.
Come relax at the nearby El Valle beach, enjoy the nature around you, and explore the jungle with the many excursions in the area.
The space
Casa de la Loma now has high speed WiFi through Starlink.
The house layout: 3 bedrooms upstairs, the largest suite has a fully netted canopy king bed, 2 hanging swing chairs, large shutter doors that open up to a balcony, and overlooks the pool and mountains in the front of the house. Two bedrooms on the other side have fully netted canopy queen beds with shutter style windows and views of the trees and mountain on the backside. The upstairs bathroom has a large stone and glass shower, a large vanity with storage, and a hangline over the shower for drying bathing suits. The outlets are type B. ( 3 prong typically used in the United States as well as the Dominican Republic)
The open concept main living floor has a large lounge couch which also doubles as 2 additional beds if needed. (nets are available) Double sets of doors in the room open up to the pool in the front and also a private patio on the side. A macrame swing is nestled under the stairs with a vibrant mural in the background. The kitchen cabinets are handmade with wood countertops with Coralina stone up the wall. Many kitchen items are available like a hot/cold water dispenser, air fryer, panini maker, popcorn popper, coffee maker, and an assortment of typical cookware and serving dishes. A large table with benches brings everyone together in the center of the room and will have a basket of local in-season fruit and a pitcher of fresh in-season local juice (usually passion fruit or limeade if available) when you arrive.
The main floor bathroom is in the hallway between the kitchen and rear entry door. It has a large stone and glass shower, a cabinet for storage, and hangline over the shower for bathing suits.
An open outdoor shower is located in the back of the house to rinse off after a trip to the beach. All bedrooms have a locking storage box for your personal items.

3 houses sit on top of the mountain and all overlook the pool. The parking, pool, and patio area around the pool is a shared space.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the house and side patio. The parking area, pool, and patio area around the pool are shared with 2 other houses (the middle house is still under construction)

There is nightly security provided and an automatic gate into the community at the bottom of the hill. You will have access to the gate code and keys to the house during your stay. You are responsible for locking the house when you are away.

The roads in the jungle can be a little rough in some areas. The road up the mountain to the house has a steep incline and 2 sharp corners. We recommend an SUV (4 wheel drive is NOT required) or 4 wheeler. (4 wheeler rentals are only allowed to go in local areas. If you plan to drive to other towns or cities you will need a car or taxi)

If you book a taxi with Gary (a local taxi business) he will pick you up from the airport and bring you right to the house. We can give you his contact information if requested.

Local car rental contacts can also be given when requested. (local area only, not available at the airport.)

The area is still growing and improving. You may see some houses or projects under construction and workers in the area during working hours.

Light daily cleaning is included in your rental. You can add daily cooking services to your stay. Let Cleuri spoil you with delicious meals while you relax and play.
