Large Family Vacation

Great location. On the beach and easy access. 5 bedrooms were great. A lot of bathrooms! Wish it had a lift but we loved the location.

Beautifully appointed, well maintained house- just like the pictures. Proximity to the beach was amazing- just steps to the water. Even my 4 year old had no issues going to/from the house on foot. It’s a bit down the beach from the craziness of the “zoo”, so there was far less traffic and people in general. We had plenty of room with 3 families and everyone was comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

The Jolly Roger

This is a great house and we loved everything about it. My only suggestion would be to offer starter packs of coffee, and more trash bags. The space was great for a party of 18. We loved this and would return again!

The whole family of 14 ranging in ages from 10 to 73 had a an absolute blast!!! The distance to the beach was perfect!!! The house fit all of us comfortably. The kids enjoyed the upstairs with 6 queens and the adults stayed down stairs in the 3 kings. The outdoor spaces were spacious with stunning views! We felt like we had our own private beach. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Time!

The accommodations at the Jolly Roger are wonderful for a multi-family. We stay in a lot of rentals and this one was by far the best in providing amenities. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for a week's stay. Check-in and check out was great and they even called mid-week to ensure we were satisfied. Great experience - 5 stars!

We loved our stay at Jolly Roger! The house was beautiful and well stocked with what we needed. The walk to the beach was easy from the house. There was more than enough parking for the 3 cars and plenty extra. Everything worked as advertised. We will keep this owner in mind when renting again.

Awesome Vacation!!!

We had such a great time on our family beach trip. The beach house was awesome! Super Clean!! Can tell they go above and beyond with cleaning services. No issues whatsoever. Great communication with rental company from start to finish. Had everything we needed to have such a great time. We will definitely be back.

Jolly Roger Beach Rental

The house was very nice, clean, and met the needs of our family. The house has direct access to the beach and was not crowded which was a huge positive with small children and three generations of family. We experienced one small issue with a smoke detector which was addressed quickly by the Bolivar Vacations team. The children and child at heart parents enjoyed getting new high scores on PAC-man.

Outstanding!

Absolutely one of the best appointed, well stocked, extremely clean, comfortable and accommodating cabins we have stayed at! Beachfront, beautiful view, and cannot say enough how clean and well stocked/supplied it is! We had one little glitch with something and the repairman came out promptly and was courteous and made sure we didn't need anything else before he left. Will DEF recommend AND rent Jolly Roger again. We are always happy when using this rental agency.

Simply perfect!

The Jolly Roger was a great place to stay. The kids had an incredible stay upstairs, with the 6 queen size beds, board games, Pacman video game as well as having 2 bathrooms stopped a lot of arguing amongst 6 teens. The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas grill made dinners even smoother. We knew about the keurig but there is even an electric Ketttle. Every little thoughtful thing was there to remind you of home. We needed for nothing! We had an amazing vacation and cannot wait to go again!

Perfect house for our girls trip

Everything was great, the host communicated well and was kind. It fit our group of 12 wonderfully. We experienced heavy rain and the roof leaking in one area of the house due to weather but the host was quick to respond and apologize. I do wish they provided more trash bags; for the amount of people the house holds, it wasn’t enough. This was completely our error for not realizing, but be warned that it takes an hour at least to get into Galveston due to the ferry. It will take an hour to get to a full service grocery store like Kroger, to the popular restaurants, etc. Walmart will not deliver groceries to the house. Overall we really enjoyed our time - the views were wonderful and we loved being right off the beach.
