It's a great base for exploring Yosemite National Park, with easy access to both the Arch Rock and South entrances.
The space
This property is by no question one of a kind and will provide you with a fully immersive mountain retreat experience while being central to many of the adventures found under Yosemite’s expansive peaks and skies.

The fully wrapped deck is where you'll enjoy the outdoors and nature that the Ponderosa Basin provides, with breathtaking views of Mariposa's mountains. Located on a gorgeous hillside, you’ll have plenty of space for sprawling out and enjoying the fresh mountain air in privacy. Get ready to take in clear night skies full of brilliant constellations from the patio hot tub — whether it’s a cold winter night or a fresh summer evening.

If you're feeling adventurous you're more than welcome to take a 1-minute stroll down the hillside to a creek that the property overlooks.

Don't forget about the friendly animals! While being surrounded by Ponderosa Pine Trees, this property provides a fantastic opportunity to participate in great bird watching. Use the binoculars we provide to get great views of blue jays, hummingbirds, ravens, wild turkeys, and much more!

This cabin has a unique floor plan that is great for entertaining. It has mid-century-inspired decor with clean and modern touches. The 1500-square-foot mountain retreat has 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. There is ample sleeping space as well as a space to relax or play. The space includes a lovely living room with a 65" TV and a modern dining room where you can eat overlooking the mountain views.

This spacious home has all the amenities and extras: 7 seats hot tub, a BBQ, a lounge area and a fire pit on the patio, and a Ping Pong Table.

The landscape provides a peaceful setting, with plenty of space to wander and unlimited privacy. Lounging furniture on the front patio is accompanied by a propane fire pit, where you can relax with stunning valley and mountain views as the sun sets.

Whether it's friends, couples, or families, the Great Yosemite Retreat at Ponderosa Pines has something for everyone!
Guest access
As our guest, you will have full access to the entire property, including the living areas, bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor spaces. Feel free to make yourself at home and enjoy all that our Ponderosa Pines Escape by TGYR has to offer.
Other things to note
COVID-19 SANITIZATION: The health, safety, and well-being of our guests are our top priority. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out to ensure the cleanliness of our property.

PET-FRIENDLY HOME: Our home is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along on your vacation. They'll love exploring the spacious backyard and relaxing on the comfy patio.
Please note that there is a fee of $100 for the first two pets that you bring with you. If you have more than two pets, there will be an additional charge of $50 for each pet after the first two.


NO SMOKING INSIDE: Smoking is not allowed inside the home. Any evidence of smoking will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.

NO PARTIES/EVENTS: We ask that you treat our home as your own and refrain from hosting any parties or events. This helps us preserve the property's pristine condition for future guests and your own return visits.

NO UNBOOKED/UNREGISTERED GUESTS: Please inform the owner or property manager if you have any unregistered visitors. Events or large gatherings on the property without prior written approval are not permitted and will be considered false pretense. This may result in the forfeit of advance payment, deposit, and/or rental money, and the party may not be permitted to check in or may be required to leave the property.

DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE: While linens and bath towels are provided, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available for an additional fee. Please inquire about this service if you are interested.

NO FIREWORKS, FIREARMS, DRONES, OR RV'S: For safety reasons, fireworks, firearms, drones, and RV's are not allowed on the property. No mechanical or moving objects are permitted on the property or over it.
