Cozy Laguna Beach Cottage 3min walk to the ocean and 7min walk to the village!

Situated right in the middle of the action, our close-to-everything 1930's cottage has been carefully designed by Jeni Maus- owner of Found Rental Co. Inspired by relaxed beach living. Jeni pulled fun pieces, old, worn objects, and fresh, clean surfaces to create an extremely comfy, relaxed, yet refined, beach house where anyone could catch their breath and enjoy a simpler time away from the hectic norm.
Nothing beats waking up and seeing the beautiful morning light on the ocean peeking through the ginkgo trees. Additionally, sunset from the porch is equally relaxing... or just walk a block and enjoy the amazing sunset on the sand for full immersion!
The backyard is nice sized with two lounge chairs, a fire pit with outdoor couches and a dining area to enjoy meals al fresco- and it's right outside the new kitchen!
Bring bikes to explore the area or simply walk everywhere- no need for a car with this location! Across the street is a grocery store, the village and Hip District are both about ¼ mi walk for tons of great restaurants and attractions.
Additionally, a block away is a surf and bike rental shop for all your activities- and safely store your toys in the fenced yard or garage.
Laguna has a ton of physically demanding (if you choose) things to do outdoors and the Maus Haus is in the middle of them all. Hiking trails (up on exposed ridges or down in valleys under the oak canopies) are a short drive away - or take the free trolly car to the trailhead! If you're a mountain biker you already know about the Laguna Beach Mtb history of producing a number of top pros over the years- trails range from beginner to expert in beautiful natural environments. Add to these, kayaking, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, etc and you'll go home in better shape and more connected with the earth than when you arrived.
Not-so-active things to do are a plenty as well! We have so many eclectic shops and art galleries in addition to the famous Sawdust Festival, Saturday farmers market, Pageant of the Masters, etc etc.
The Maus Haus has four off-street parking spaces not counting the garage. And there's an outdoor shower to rinse off after an ocean swim!
