Gather with family and friends in front of the fireplace, or on the wrap around deck to enjoy the mountain and city views, surrounded by acreage and privacy on the edge of town. Safeway is just a mile down the road and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Lander is a legendary outdoors town known for its world class rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting and 4th of July festivities. Notable nearby sites include: Sinks Canyon State Park, Wind River Mountains, Red Canyon and events include: International Climbers' Festival, Lander Brewfest, Lander LIVE, Fremont Area Road Tour, We also have the oldest continuously running rodeo in the country!

This retreat house is beautiful. It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel while in Lander for a wedding. Beautiful views. Real Wyoming countryside. The house is well equipped and has everything. The backyard is fenced and would be great for a dog. I might have to go back again in the winter so that we can try the fireplace. Highly recommended!

The Lander Retreat exceeded our expectations for our week-long stay. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious, with personal touches to make it feel like home. The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The location allowed for quick trips to town while being quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces for relaxing and watching the weather and nearby horses. The hosts were friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed meeting Matt one day. We would definitely stay at Lander Retreat again!

Our Vacation Home On the Range

We came to town to go rock climbing. We usually camp on these type of trips but stayed long enough to want more home comforts. This place delivered! We loved that it felt cozy and close to town but also far enough out to feel like we were on vacation. Our farm animal neighbors and views of the mountains made our evenings and rest days very relaxing. We'll be back!

Wonderful stay

We stay for 4 nights visiting our daughter over Easter. The house is very homey and clean with all the extra good quality amenities to cook meals. I loved the Nourshing traditions poster on the kitchen door! The home has wonderful views and the hosts were excellent in communicating with me. We would definitely consider returning

Great stay in Lander

My husband and pups stayed at this property for three nights in August while hiking the Wind Rivers. The house is very comfortable and quiet. A few miles out of town and the stars were incredible. There are two AC units and they worked great. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

Came to hike with my dog. The house was exactly as advertised. Very clean and quiet. Communication from hosts was excellent. Highly Recommend.
