Awesome resort

Los Abrigados was beautiful, everything we needed was at our disposal. Easy to walk everywhere in Sedona. Staff was super helpful & friendly..

Great location, pool area was great. Room was very old and dated. Gloomy, moldy caulking in shower, furniture old dirty. Kitchenette dated. Supplies were good. Bed was comfortable.

If you enjoy staying in a resort near the hustle and bustle of shops and restaurants, this is the place for you! The resort grounds are clean and fun with something for everyone. My unit was right behind the Tlaquepaque shopping village, so I was able to enjoy the evening music from my patio.There are some renovations going on so the reception area seems to be in a temporary space that is very noisy. Though the staff was gracious, the noise of the room made it difficult to hear each other and I couldn't get out of there fast enough.My room was nice but not exactly what I was expecting according to the photos. The efficiency room was smaller than what I expected, and there was no cooktop as shown in the photos. They were supposed to bring me one, but it was never received so I was unable to cook my morning breakfasts.The courtyard location was very nice with fruit trees, gas grills, and a gas fireplace. Though it seems you need to request the grills and fireplace to be turned on because I only saw them used and lit upon the request of another visitor.Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

Cozy and great location

We enjoyed our stay in this studio. A little smaller accommodations than other one bedroom options on site, but It was all we needed as a great jumping off point for local eateries as well as recreation. We absolutely love the easy access and short walk to a relaxing hot tub on property.

Great Place

The resort was situated in the middle of everything you want to do in Sedona. Never very far from any of the hikes getting to where we wanted to go was quick ...or as quick as can be given Sedona traffic during spring break. Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Plenty of room for all our stuff as well as relaxing at night

Perfect Location

We loved staying at Los Abrigados. It was the perfect location for our get a way. Had everything we needed. Walking distance to many things.The best service ever, everyone was wonderful, courteous and attentive. We are recommending this place to our friends and family. We can’t wait to come back :)

Not thrilled

This placw seems to book you and then move you around. We stsyed 5 days in one room, received a check out email, and was notified that we needed to move to a different room. Then was moved to a different room for 2 more days. The room had bees next door.

The onlime picture / description of the room did not match what we received. This resort does not offer daily room service. Beware of the persistent concierge trying to get you to invest into atime share!

Don't be fooled

High pressure "time share" sales during check-in, had to avoid the lobby after that. Dated resort, dirty room, no natural light. Asked for a room with a view and they gave me a room with a view of a small ally and retaining wall (pathetic). Checked out two nights early to go to a nicer place.

Loved the Facility and Closeness to downtown Sedona

We enjoyed our stay, but upon closer inspection, we found that the floors and rugs were actually filthy. I’m glad we didn’t notice till the end of our stay. I had to wipe something off the floor that I spilled, and the paper towel was black when I finished. The rug looked okay, until you sat in the living room and the light was on in the bedroom. Then you could see the stains, wear and dirt. We did share this with the resort desk. Thanks for the experience, and I hope you will look into why it was so dirty. I think, as a VRBO customer, we pay for cleaning. Thanks

Great location and property. Awful check in.

We had a really nice stay at this property and recommend it, to spite a nightmare of a check in process. More on that in a minute... The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The location was fantastic, very close to everything one would want to see and do in the area. There were plenty of restaurant options in walking distance, for anyone who doesn't have a car. We particularly liked the Secret Garden Cafe, where we had a nice Mother's Day Brunch. The pool was nice and conveniently has bar service at the pool (during peak season). The only real problem was the check in process which was a disaster. The resort had no record of us at all. We arrived after 10PM and were hoping to get some grocery shopping in before turning in. Instead, we stood in the lobby for 45 minutes trying to get customer support from VRBO and the owner of the property. They never did find our booking, but fortunately were able to get us a room. They were very close to full, so the fact that our booking was lost was very stressful, as most everywhere in town was at or close to occupancy. We could very well have been turned away with no place to stay. We were a little disappointed that the property offered us nothing for our troubles. No upgrade, no discount, no credit towards food or the spa. Given what a hassle this was and how late we finally got into our room, it seemed some good will effort was in order.

Rocky Start to our vacation

Hotel Marketing contacted us 36 hrs before the trip and let us know our trip was cancelled and attempted to pressure my pregnant wife and I into accepting a different property 19 mins away for the same price. After 3 hours on the phone and checking out different properties, they magically informed us 10 hrs before we were to leave for our trip that they had a room for us. We paid for a Studio that portrayed in the pictures of having a large kitchenette with stove and full size fridge, couch / coffee table area along with the bed and bath. Upon arrival, we found we were given the equivalent to a hotel room with a mini-fridge. After more time on the phone attempting to resolve, no one helped or cared. On our 2nd day, the cleaning staff had us mistakenly marked down as checking out and woke us up at 7:58am on vacation. The external parts of the property are great. Rooms are dated and dirty. Staff and property management were terrible. This place is staying alive on location alone.
