The check-in process was terrible. We never got any check-in information or any info about our keys. When we got there, the property was locked, the host wasn’t answering any calls and we had to stand outside for a while until we started banging on the door loudly and a construction worker opened the door. He then connected us to someone who gave us the code and we were finally able to get in. However, soon after settling in, we realised that the water supply was cut off. The host got in touch and told us the issue would be fixed the next morning and that they would give us a refund for 1 night. We didn’t get the water back until Day 2 of our stay at 3pm. So we had to take inconvenient trips to a shop nearby to buy water. The host also then ghosted us when we pointed out that no refund was issued. On top of all of that, all of Day 3, there was a horrible sewage smell in the room. It did go away eventually but it wasn’t the best experience. On the positive side, the room was nice and it was convenient transport-wise. The bus stop was right outside. We also had a little sitting area outside and all amenities in the room including a stove, fridge, and a washing machine (just not water).
