Excellent VRBO rental! Extremely clean, well appointed and great area. We really appreciated the fenced in yard for our dogs. We travel a lot throughout US and Canada with our dogs. This rental was among our top 10!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The house was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was also pet-friendly with a secure, completely fenced-in yard, which gave us so much peace of mind. The host was extremely accommodating with our check-in and check-out times and very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Overall, a really nice house and a great experience—I’d definitely recommend it to others and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great property and clean. Very easy check in/out. Kitchen was great, had everything we needed including complimentary coffee hand/dish soap. Hand soap in both bathrooms, extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in case you forget yours. Extra towels for the hot tub. We were there for our daughters wedding and Bev left us a beautiful white bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table. Pet friendly which was great for us.

Great stay, dogs loved it!

We really enjoyed our short stay at this cozy little cottage. We did not get to walk to the lake because it rained a lot but the hot tub was a pleasant addition to the evening. The house was well kept, very clean, and full stocked with everything, including snacks, water bottles, and dog treats! We appreciate a dog friendly rental. The fenced in yard and gated porch was a bonus! Our girls (the dogs) loved it!

Great place to stay if you have dogs. Nice fenced in yard. Kitchen had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Very close to Hickory Run State Park where we did a lot of hiking. If given the opportunity I would rent this house again.

Awesome Father's Day Weekend

We immensely enjoyed our stay over Father's Day weekend. We were only able to stay a couple of nights, but the house offered everything we needed. Appliances, cutlery, cookware, etc was all great and the fenced in yard for our lab was so helpful. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful Stay

This place was beautiful. It was very clean and the fenced in yard was perfect for my 2 dogs. The neighborhood was very nice and the scenery was beautiful. It was a peaceful and quiet and lots of wild life. We will be booking this again in the future for sure.

So glad I found this property!

We needed a peaceful getaway after spending so much time remodeling our kitchen and dealing with a stressful situation. Once a year, I like to travel with my two Beagles for hiking trips. Not only was this home pet-friendly, but there were also many accommodations for pets, which is very important to me. This house is probably one of the cleanest homes I’ve ever rented—there was not a trace of dust. The home was very neat and everything organized, and everything worked well with no issues. My bed was very comfortable, the fireplace was great, and the hot tub was just what I needed after a few long hikes. Perfect.No further explanation is required—this place is it!

Charming home!

We stayed for a weekend of skiing and snowboarding. The weather was so warm the slopes weren’t fully open, and of course it was the last weekend of the season. We had a great day out Saturday but then hung around the house for the remainder of the weekend. What a charming and cozy home! We love the fireplace, and our pups loved the yard and deer friends passing by! Will definitely stay again when we plan to ski next year! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Perfect!

We live in Erie and our son lives in Philly - we met here to celebrate his birthday. The house and yard are perfect. The yard was plenty big for our dogs and all potential escape-routes have been secured. It was chilly and rainy so we didn't spend time outside, but the large deck has seating, a picnic table and grill. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, there were extra blankets and towels available, the gas fireplace made it cozy and all the furniture seems new. The only negative comment we have is that the screen door doesn't latch, but there is a hook and eye to secure it so the dogs don't push out.

Girls weekend!

This was a great place for our annual girl"s weekend. Lots of space for us and close to Jim Thorpe where we spent our Saturday. The home was very clean, the towels were fluffy, and we had everthing we needed to prepare food with more than enough silverware, plates, glasses and coffee cups for our group. We did not bring pets and there was no evidence of pets (smell, hair, etc.) that had been there before us. Two things to note; there are only two window air conditioning units, one in the kitchen area and one in the master bedroom behind the headboard. The second bedroom has a ceiling fan but the third bedroom had no ceiling fan (bunk beds) or air conditioning. There was a small fan in the room. Temps, when we were there, were high 90's and it was quite warm in the bedroom area. Future renters may want to bring an extra fan. The second issue was that the freezer does not have an icemaker and there were no ice cube trays to use. There is a DG close by where you can get ice. But all in all, we had a great time in a wonderful home at a great price. We will definately consider renting from Brenda again if we return to the area.

Everything appears to be new or newish. New flooring, kitchen cabinets/appliances, bathrooms, furniture, A/C's.Clean, very clean.Pet friendly although not a necessity for me but hot tub was a bonus. Will consider renting this property again.

Towamensing Trails has so much to offer for any age! The community has a tennis court, volleyball court, lake swimming, in-ground pool, clubhouse, and boat rentals. We are close to Jim Thorpe, Pocono Raceway, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, Penns Peak, and many other entertaining places to be. There are great places to eat and fun bars to hang out in. Many places in Lake Harmony host weddings and this would be a great place to set family and friends in for your Pocono Wedding. Please let us know if we can help accommodate your special occasion.

We stay in VRBO rentals all over the United States and make sure that our property has all of the comforts of home. We are all about pets. Any pet is welcome to our home with responsible pet owners. We have a fenced-in yard and our deck is also secure. I also would like to add if you do not have pets, you would never know that this is a Pet-Friendly VRBO. Our property manager is meticulous about how clean our property is. If you need anything at all she will accommodate within reason.
