Welcome to the Quack Shak, Our relaxing pet-friendly Chalet is right off hole 1 at Indian Lake's Northwinds Golf Course, in the beautiful Laurel Highlands!

Our home offers the perfect no-frills retreat for up to 10 guests looking for simplicity and relaxation in the great outdoors.
The home comes fully stocked with everything you will need for a no worries stay

The area has a crazy amount of Laurel Highlands activities just minutes from the home

The house was open and roomy. We had seven in our group. Loved the arcade, loved the record player. Location was perfect for our itinerary of Flight 93 memorial and antique shopping. Was nice to walk to the club house for dinner.

Perfect Place for Us

Place perfect for us.. Golf course perfect for walks and seeing deer at twilight. Beautiful views and sunset over mountains.Tyler great host and returned messages promptly.Only con was alot of poor golfers hitting balls around open back patio. Plan to come back next year!!

Family Christmas in January

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The cabin was the perfect size for our family and it was a very enjoyable place to relax and stay warm during the frigid temperatures. We would absolutely recommend this place to any of our family members and friends.

We had an excellent time at the Lake house. The host provides everything you possibly need to have a great vacation. The property is conveniently located to Indian lake Marina , lodge and golf courses. Also Flight 93 memorial is right up the road. Can't wait to go back as soon as possible. We were in town for our son's wedding and my husband had tee times for Friday and I joined him later as well as our other family members. Our host was extremely accommodating with check-in as we were all arriving at different times and some were arriving early. Although we didn't need it, our host also allowed us to take our time to check-out as well. The property was easy to find. The property had everything we needed. We did however, find the steps to be a little steep. There are handrails which helped a great deal for those that needed it. Overall, the property suited us for what we needed.

Beautiful location

Weekend stay while we attended the PA sporting clays championship nearby at Stonycreek. Chalet is VERY quiet, beds were comfortable and had all the necessary supplies to make everything easy. No issues at all

We really enjoyed our stay! The Chalet was clean, comfortable and decorated so cute!! Our host answered any questions and gave great recommendations! There were snacks, coffee and toiletries! It was a perfect stay! I’d give it 1en stars ⭐️ if I could. We all loved the massage chair!!

Nice Christmas Getaway

We stayed at this lovely chalet style townhouse to visit family over Christmas. We appreciated the cleanliness and the warmth of the house during some cold winter nights. Our two pups loved it, too. The owner quickly helped us trouble-shoot an issue with the lock and was very responsive. Just a note that the internal stairs are a bit steep for those who may have trouble managing them - but there is both a sleeping room and bathroom on ground floor. It was an excellent place for us and we appreciated all of the amenities. Thank you.
