Minutes Away from MQT One Hour to Munising

Harvey Haven is conveniently located right in Harvey, just a short drive to NMU, Black Rocks, Hiking Trails and much more! This is a newly renovated home that sleeps 6 comfortably with 2 bedrooms and one bath. One room has a Queen bed and the other is a King. The pullout sofa is a Queen with a memory foam topper provided. One of the bedrooms has a massage chair that you can enjoy after a long day. Circle K Gas Station, Subway and McDonalds are all located right across the highway if you don't feel like cooking or want a quick bite to eat. Many restaurants in Marquette that offer delivery as well. There is also a grocery store within walking distance and Dance of the Sun Day Salon and Spa!

The living room features a Smart Tv and electric fireplace with a remote for easy use. Not only do we have a small library but board games and art supplies as well! USB outlets for convenience. We also have a pack-n-play available for use.

Marquette has a lot to offer and is only an 8 minute drive from this home. If you are up for an adventure there is a long list of hiking and biking trails, and snowcapped mountains, trails for skiing and snowshoeing. You could also spend a day in Marquette’s charming and historic downtown, filled with local breweries, restaurants, and shops.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed at a lot of short-term rentals in Marquette area and this one fit us very nicely. Everything was clean and working. Location was perfect for visiting family nearby. All furniture was comfortable. Love hardwood floors. Only negatives were backing out of driveway is challenging at night, entry steps need a railing and shower is very tall getting into.

Was as good as described and pictured online. Location was convenient along walking/bike trail, and close to both Marquette and easy to get to Munising and Pictured Rocks. This listing was a great place to stay while in Marquette. VERY clean and well equipped with everything you could need. Kitchen and bathrooms both had it all. We were here in the Fall, so didn't need air/heat. The fireplace is pretty, but does not kick out any heat - it's just for looks. This property is on a main road, so not peaceful/quiet. BUT! As we only slept here, it was perfect for our stay. Numerous times we said that it "felt like we are at Grandma's house." Clean, well stocked, but felt like we weren't allowed to touch things. So many labels and instructions around. (Which can be nice! But this was a LOT.) Overall, we would stay here again. But would give it a 7/10.

This place was wonderful for my friends and I from metro Detroit. Great location so close to Marquette and the house had nice amenities! My friends and I enjoyed the puzzles and coffee that were there.

Very convenient

We enjoyed our stay at Harvey Haven. We were in town visiting our friends' family, who live right down the road. It was very convenient to have our own space to land, and the coloring books were much appreciated by our 4 year old. My only suggestions for improvement: 1) Improved lighting/marking for the entrance and driveway would make after-dark arrivals smoother.2) It was very warm and humid one day and night of our stay, and the ceiling fans didn't quite cut it. We weren't aware there was no a/c until the next morning. 3) I read four different checkout procedures in four different locations (2 different pages in the guest book, email, secondary bedroom), which led to a harried checkout.Otherwise, the house was perfect. It was very homey, the massage chair was a very pleasant surprise, the kitchen key was very helpful. We would love to stay again.

Great Central Location

We had a great time staying at the Harvey Haven. It was a great central location to get to Pictured Rocks, Marquette, Presque Isle, and so much more. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Every cooking utensil you'd need in the kitchen, lots of extra blankets for sleeping. The bathroom had shampoo/conditioner, toothbrushes, etc. My kids found board games in the cupboards that they had fun playing, and the massage chair was a big hit for everyone! Check in/out was very easy. Highly recommend, we'll be back to visit in the future!

Clean cozy spot

This house was perfect for what we needed. Very clean! Recliners and massage chair were a big hit. Fireplace made it extra cozy. Hosts did a great job of thinking of all the extras you could need. No complaints.

Great little house!

We stayed here while checking out northern Michigan University for our daughter. This little house was in great condition, clean, and comfortable. No, it does not have air conditioning. It was the perfect location just outside of town. It represents the type of property “short term rentals” were meant to be. Would stay here again!

Cozy stay!

This was a great place to stay for a short weekend with 4 adults and 2 kids. It's a few miles from Marquette, but the drive into town is beautiful! There is a grocery store right across the street, which was certainly convenient. We used the kitchen to cook dinner both nights and everything worked well. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the kids loved the pull out couch. All arrival and departure information was clear and concise. Would stay again!!

loved this trip!!

I loved staying here. The house was cute and full of hospitable details. All the furniture was comfortable and it was super clean. Location was great-- it is on a main road but it didnt bother us, especially because theres a grocery store and a gas station right across the street. I recommend this place as a great home base while traveling the UP. Thank you!
