Bluebird Retreat/Fantastic Cottage Style Home Next to Coal Creek! Walk to it All
This cozy 4 bedroom home is located in the heart of Crested Butte only a short walk to Elk Avenue and steps from Coal Creek. Listen to the sounds of water while you sleep in the Summer and catch the free shuttle to the mountain for a day of skiing in the winter. Come Fall you don't have far to look for the colorful foliage since this home has mature trees surrounding it.
Step into this charming home on the main level and relax in the living room with comfy sectional and additional seating. There is a large flat panel TV for movie night and the gas fireplace is great to cozy up to on a winter morning with that first cup of coffee. The updated kitchen has plenty of room for all the cooks and is filled with light from the abundant windows in the space. The dining room at the back of the home looks out to the wonderful views and the back yard where the kids just might be playing without a care in the world. There is also a breakfast area on the other side of the kitchen and together they seat 12. Down the hall off the kitchen you will find a laundry room and powder bath.
Upstairs on the second floor there are 3 guest bedrooms which share a full bath in the hallway. Two of them have a queen bed in each and the third has two queen beds. There is a deck accessible in the Summer months with views of Mt. CB. Upstairs on the third floor is the entire master suite with king bed, vaulted ceilings, private bath and sitting area.
Coal Creek is just steps from the front door and all of the dining and shopping on Elk Avenue is just a short walk as is the free shuttle for the resort to ski in the winter. Come experience Bluebird Retreat and enjoy Crested Butte, Last Great Ski Town!
