Summary:

Be part of the hip scene in a converted warehouse building. Epic ceilings, exposed pipes, and oversized casement windows let the light pour in and add to the industrial charm. There's a shared outdoor pool, gym, and office space for visitors, too.



The Space:

The apartment on Morgan Street is a charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath rental in the historical Warehouse District of Downtown Durham that includes a fully stocked kitchen, comfortably furnished rooms, and free parking on-site. It's within walking distance to the convention center and Downtown Durham's best restaurants, pubs, and entertainment.



You'll love the 18th century architectural roots of the space which features brick, timber, high ceilings, wood floors & an open floor plan. It'll be your home away from home while you explore and experience everything Durham has to offer. We love to give recommendations to our guests so never hesitate to ask us for things to do, places to eat, or sights to see.



What you'll really like about staying at our space:



• Cleanliness. Our space is professionally cleaned before each and every reservation, while many other listings in the city are not. You'll really appreciate staying at a clean and well taken care of space.



• Communication. We have a 100% response rate for a reason. We respond to each and every guest message within just a few minutes, before and during your stay.



• Arrival. We have a convenient 24/7 self-check-in system with free on-site parking that lets our guests have flexible check-in times, no matter how late it is at night.



• Safety. Our townhome is located in an apartment community that has security cameras, is well-lit, and has an enclosed garage for private parking. We also have an outside camera above the hallway entrance that we use to help us conveniently check-in guests, and as an added security benefit for our guests. These cameras do have audio recording that we are able to review history of if needed. There are no cameras or audio recording devices inside.



• Location. The location we're in is a walker's paradise since most places you'll want to visit won't require a car. Morgan Street is as flat as a pancake, has ample sidewalk space, and is very bikeable. Our home is just a 5-minute walk away from the Convention Center. Walk Score is 84, Transit Score 65 and Bike Score 80.

• two spacious bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed

• Apple TV (must use your own personal subscription for apps) and tv antenna in living room

• super fast wifi, perfect for apple tv streaming

• 1 bathroom

• walk-in closet that'll hold all your suitcases, travel bags, and clothing

• paid washer/dryer on the 2nd floor the hallway (not in our unit, shared with other residents)

• black-out curtains over the large windows

• fully stocked kitchen with the essential cookware, silverware, and dinnerware you'll need to dine-in

• dining table

• spacious living room that includes a queen-sized pull out sofa

• laptop friendly workspace

*Important Note: This rental is located in a historic tobacco warehouse that has been converted into residential apartments but still maintains older warehouse fixtures. The walls for the bedrooms do not reach the 22 foot ceiling, this can be seen in the pictures. Also, since this is an industrial setting, some noise does carry from surrounding neighbors. The parking is not on the ground level of the building, but rather 1 block away. Let us know if you have any further questions about these notes!

Guest Access:

At the apartment on Morgan Street, we want to make sure our guests feel comfortable and at home. Our guests have access to near about everything that comes with the space and we only ask that you treat our home gently. Take a look at the photos in the listing to see our space.



You'll have full access to everything in the home, including;

• guest essentials like fresh bath towels, bed sheets, soap, and hairdryer

• toiletries like hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toothpaste

The apartment on Morgan Street is located in a wonderful apartment community on West Morgan Street and being a guest gets you access to the apartment community amenities. We only ask that you follow the respective community rules that are posted in the amenities. A copy of the resident rules can be found inside our in-house guidebook.

*Note there is a dog part onsite as part of the apartment community so you may hear barking but residents should respect quiet hours 11pm-8am.

WALK: The truly wonderful thing about the location of our place in the heart of Downtown Durham is that it's within walking distance to literally everything!



BULL CITY CONNECTOR: Why walk when you can get shepherded around Downtown Durham for FREE? The Bull City Connector is a fare-free route from Duke University to the Golden Belt artistic hub, including Ninth Street and downtown Durham. The bus runs every 17 minutes and there is a stop right next to my place. Did I mention it's FREE?



UBER: Durham has a strong and vibrant Uber presence. Getting a Uber drive to pick you up is as easy as opening the app and tap, tap, tapping.



TAXI TAXI: Call TAXI TAXI or just look around, Taxi Taxi cabs are a staple of the Durham scene.

Great Property, But Lacking in Access Details

Make sure you contact the host to ask for address information because the "610" street number was never provided and we spent 1.5 hours trying to find the correct building as there are several that looked alike. Plus the reservation mentioned "Trifecta Corporate Housing" but this business is in the "604" building, but the actual VRBO property that we booked was in the "610" building which as labeled
