Very quiet, secure and peaceful neighborhood in Mount Vernon. This is the former neighborhood of the First President of America George Washington. The neighborhood encompasses the Museum and Mausoleum of George Washington which is a 2 -5 mins by car or 10 - 15 minutes walk.
Walk to the biggest Shopping center in Alexandria and Fairfax County where you can find almost all the restaurants, shops. Major stores like Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, Shoppers and many others. There is Express Bus and 24/7 public buses that take you directly to Kings Street & Huntington Metro station as well as connect you to other buses and trains everywhere in VA, DC & MD. Walk to Sherwood Hospital, regional Library and very close to National Harbor, Fort Belvoir, Alexandria Old town, DCA Airport, DC, Pentagon etc.
