The beach is beckoning you to this dreamy seaside townhome. Start and end each day with the gentle sound of Gulf waves from your private perch within a laid-back community complete with a sparkling on-site pool. Updated furnishings, decor, and appliances provide total modern comfort inside the home. The townhome is located on the quiet, east side of St. George Island, just a few blocks from the pristine beauty of Dr. Julian G. Bruce State Park. The St. George Island Lighthouse & Museum, bars, shops, groceries, and local dining options are less than four miles away.

A decorative fireplace, comfortable seating, and a smart TV frame the family gatherings in the living room. Stainless steel kitchen appliances make it easy to plan home-cooked meals. Both bedrooms are located upstairs for added privacy. Each one includes a smart TV and balcony access. The primary bedroom boasts an en suite bathroom.

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very happy with stay.

Overall the property itself was fine I'd give it a 7.5/10. Customer service through Vacasa was 10/10. The location of the vacation property was perfect, 10/10.

Amazing experience - highly recommend

This Vacasa rental was exceptional, and well worth every penny. Its location on St. George Island is next door to the state park, with quiet surroundings and respectful neighbors. The rental includes full amenities, including wifi and a full kitchen, all immaculately clean and updated. Highly recommend this rental, and we're very excited to stay here again soon.

The proximity to the beach. Ice cold AC. Good water pressure. However, I would never rent this condo again based on the above concerns.

Sisters beach trip

Great stay. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice linens and towels. The kitchen has all of the necessities. Everything worked perfectly. The pool is clean and centrally located so it’s a short walk and there are grills available (we didn’t use). The boardwalk extends from the condos all of the way to the beach.

Perfect for a quiet beach getaway

Enjoyed a girls weekend here. Perfect amount of space for up to 4 people. The condo had everything we needed. Wifi was great - which was helpful since service is spotty in this area. Check in & out was super simple and management was very responsive. Everything you want!

The townhome was not quite how it was listed. There was no address on the unit. We were not told it was unit 2B until after 45 minutes of looking. Although my first thought was to leave immediately, we decided to try to stick it out. The beach and the people are phenomenal. The island is quiet and quirky, and I would return in a heartbeat. I, however, would not stay at this townhome again. The reviews about a difficult kitchen or spot on. It seems like someone took on a renovation project without the knowledge of how to do so.
I wished I had a Mr. Clean sponge for every door.
A shelf would help.
No pantry and plywood floor.
Master bath has very little workable space.

Has potential. Clean, nice rooms. Because we were the first to rent... seems like we were the ones working out the rental kinks of things not working or niceties missing.

Island time

We enjoyed the home and the island, the only things we didn't like was all the steps and since I am 6'6" tall, I would hit my head on the light fixtures in the kitchen and since my wife is short, she had a little trouble getting on the bed.

Crappy workmanship on the remodel and MOLD!

This place was flipped terribly, the washing machine sounded like a train was going to come through the floor. Could smell the mildew/mold through out & see it in the primary bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend. The location was good though.

Sad, neglected, unloved condo.

I’m not even sure where to start. As other reviews said, this condo is a bad DIY project. The oven door wouldn’t open fully because it hit the fridge, my dresser drawer did not open fully because it hit the nightstand, my shower rod fell off almost every day, the window treatments were missing slats, and if you opened them, you saw the dusty, dirty windows and sills. There were broken hooks in the bathroom that were never fixed, and burned out lightbulbs and light fixtures. It seemed clean from the chest down, just don’t look up. The lighting fixtures were dirty and dusty as well as the vents.To top it all off, we had roaches following a heavy rain. I would never stay at this condo again and it made me wonder why Vacasa has it in their lineup.Their customer service however was very good. They came out to spray the next day. I saw one more roach another day but it was dead.Because I am a positive person, I give kudos to the AC and water pressure. The beach was also fantastic and everyone at the complex was polite. I enjoyed being so close to the state park and we enjoyed our nightly sunset bike ride there. I will go back to St. George Island just never to unit 2B.

Overrated

There are a lot of issues with the condo. Some that were dangerous ie outlets hanging from the wall not attached. Tub faucets not attached to the shower wall. There were several items not dangerous but unacceptable for this type of place.

Ruined Vacation

The property was very lovely and clean. The issue was lack of air conditioning. When we first arrived, the entrance code we were given did not work. A Vacasa representative came to help us get in, and once inside noticed the air conditioning was not working. The representative assured us she would have someone out to fix it immediately. The repairman did not show up until around 11:00 pm, and by that time we were upstairs and did not hear them knock. We spent the first night in an un-air conditioned condo where the thermostat read 89 degrees. The repairmen showed up the next morning, but did not make any repairs and left without explanation. I texted the representative and was informed that a new unit was going to be put in. Later that afternoon, another repairman showed up, but told us the unit was not repairable. We let the representative know about this and informed her that we could not sleep another night in the heat. We thus left the property and found a room at a local hotel. We were promised a refund for this trip, but as of today (two weeks later), still have not received any sort of refund. I feel this is poor customer service and would not recommend this company.
