Sonrise Cottage is rural but centrally located and well suited for getaways with loved ones as well as business travelers, remote workers, and longer stays. Hicksville, OH is 10 minutes away and offers a variety of dining options, gas stations, local shops, and basic grocery stores. For even more options, larger towns and cities—including Fort Wayne, IN—are only 30 to 45 minutes away, featuring shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment venues. There are State Parks and lakes within driving distance as well, so you can gear up and do some outdoor exploration!

We’ve lovingly designed this cottage to offer you a relaxing, memorable stay. From cozy beds to thoughtful amenities, every detail is meant to help you feel right at home. We've added special touches throughout to make your visit feel truly cared for. Past guests have described the cottage as peaceful, spotless, well-stocked, perfectly located—and even their favorite VRBO stay!

Please Note:

1. There's a security camera overlooking the drive that actively records video and audio.

2. There are a few steps leading into the house as well as front porch.

3. Being in the country, the water is well water and can have a slight smell and taste to it. The cottage has a special water faucet just for drinking.
